Cracking performance from Selkirk Victoria at the Public Park today, thoroughly deserved 6-1 victory to all but seal promotion. Vastly improved performance from the past 4 games and sets us up nicely for what should be a good game against a Boswels side on good form

Lauder beating HOL aswel? Treato - what happened mate?

Roll on next weekend

We must bring the best of Selkirk since that's twice we have been humped off you. You have a really good unit and if you keep the players together next season should do really well in the B division. HOL losing is a major shock since alot of the boys predicted a Lauder win after playing them last week.

No disrespect to you and your team treato but if they will only turn up for home matches or ones close to the holm why did the club join the Border Am leagues?
I'd be well pissed off if my team could only be arsed to turn up to home games mate

Have to agree with this. Was at the game today, it was pretty close for much of the game but thought Lauder were probably worth their win. Have to say I was surprised to be asked (although jokingly !!) by one of the HoL bench if I'd brought my boots as they were down to the bare bones !! Now I see why, that is a bit of a poor situation. Feel sorry for all the guys who do put in a shift EVERY week.

Winaukee you're right that's two of our better performances this season against you, I have to ask though - what is with the zonal marking? It seemed that every time we had a corner or free kick we could float the ball in and there was no challenge - hence, two goals from me ;) .

Vics look certain to go up. Going by Hearts' last few away games i'd be surprised if they picked up maximum points from their remaining away matches. But I still think they've done enough at home to get them up. Gala/Lauder/Hearts all have to play each other again so there's points to be dropped all over the place and ultimately these will decide who goes up.

REMAINING LEAGUE GAMES

Selkirk Vics (5 to play, 41 points)
Kelso Thistle (H)
Yetholm (H)
St. Boswells (H)
CFC Bowholm (H)
Hawick LR (A)

Hearts of Liddesdale (5 to play, 34 points)
Lauder (H)
Gala Hotspur (A)
Tweedmouth AC (A)
Hawick LR (A) (Sat 12/03/11)
Peebles RR (A)

Gala Hotspur (7 to play, 23 points)
Hearts of Liddesdale (H)
Lauder (H)
Hawick LR (H)
Tweedmouth AC (A)
CFC Bowholm (A)
Peebles RR (A) (Sat 12/03/11)
St. Boswells (A)

Lauder (8 to play, 20 points)
CFC Bowholm (H)
Hawick LR (H)
Peebles (H)
St. Boswells (H)
Tweedmouth AC (H) (Sat 12/03/11)
Hearts of Liddesdale (A)
Gala Hotspur (A)
Kelso Thistle (A)

Zonal marking was intorduced by me since we kept getting beat at corners when we man marked. It normally works and you are the only team that have scored against us from corners that I can think of. It didn't help not having the two biggest players in the team there but still no excuses since we still did it shite on Saturday.

Could be back to man marking next week since the intelligence of the players has also increased from earlier on in the season.

We need to win out to have any chance of going up but I honestly can't see that happening.

Settle down! More meant Liam Hardie and Shaun Bell
Only think Garry and Penny has done is add a little bit of weight to the pack
