Modern Warfare 3 will still outsell Battlefield 3 sadly, far too many people are used to the ease of CoD and most won't want to, or won't be patient enough to switch games completely.

For sure. Battlefield is my preference between the two and I know it will be again this time around but I'm pretty sure I'll still end up buying Modern Warfare 3 aswell.

^ In the same boat as Mr Hahn, I expect BF3 to be the better game and to get more game play, but i'm pretty sure i'll still pick up MW3.

Always enjoyed the CoD games, and likely that friends will be picking it up as well.

I'm sure you're right GiGi - does that mean Jets are out of BF3 on consoles? Will the 64 player maps be scaled down for console, left as they are, or dropped? A huge map like that, with 24 ppl on it would be stupid.

I'm certain that you would need to buy the VIP code separately, as it will have already been redeemed by the previous owner.

I think the VIP pass code could be as much as £10 (someone confirm?), so you might be best just buying BFBC2 from play.com for £12.99 inc free delivery.

I read a while back that the back of the box says that the VIP code expires on 01/04/2011, but i'm pretty sure the code still works fine.

You still get access to 4 maps without the code (I think) - definitely enough there between rush and conquest modes to see you thru to battlefield 3.

Or if you love it, buying the code is hardly a waste of money! Or resell and buy a new copy at £13.

There are servers dedicated to people without the VIP code. You'll still be able to play, just not with anyone who does have it, including friends.

I missed the deal during July, where you could have pre-ordered this for under £30 with voucher codes

If the MoH owners got their beta keys already, everyone else should be getting them soon too. The MoH limited edition only gave them 48 hour prior access to it.

Yeah it's pretty much the CPU and graphics card I was interested in. If you check your system or run a program called GPU-Z it'll tell you. My PC is a couple of years old so I've got a gtx260 which is still decent by today's standards but that's about it, well outdated by now.

If you pre-ordered it from Origin you also get early access to the beta. I did pre order it from origin, sadly I just moved flat and don't have the internet yet
