There's an illusion spell (think you can get it from a book) where you can throw a ball of light at a wall, and it lights up the immediate area for a minute or so, and unlike the vampire power, you can use it more than once a day - you just need to have enough magicka to cast it.

That's magelight I think, but Candlelight is similar, and also better. Instead of staying wherever you cast it, it follows you around. Great for caves and other darkened rooms, but not so great if you're trying to be stealthy...

You can use that power as much as you like, it's not limited at all which is why I like it so much. Magelight is alright but just find it a bit of a pain

Any word on the DLC yet?
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.
Die, die, die....I can't

Not specifically but here's some stuff the devs have come up with so far.

On phone so apologies for no direct link.

There's rumours of there being DLC based around Morrowind/Cyrodil. Don't have the article to hand, but apparently someone no-clipped their way to Morrowind, or at least a scaled down version of it. The textures were low res, but could perhaps be a pre-cursor to something more substantial in DLC. Which would be...awesome.

A fully updated Morrowind would be the greatest thing in ES games since ever. It's a bit big though, would probably be a standalone game at some point in the future.

The dragon mount looks fucking awesome. Imagine being able to tour the full map and get involved in some dragon v dragon combat.

That really is an outstanding video.

Pretty much fucked in this game now. About four of my active quests - including my favourite Thieves Guild ones - require me to seek out people in Markarth. Thing is, ages ago I did that mission in Markarth where you're framed for murder, and I can't go back there as I just get attacked on site or flung in jail as I've such a high bounty (that the guards won't accept as a bribe either). Every other city I'm fine, apart from that b*****ding place.

Aye, me. There's one bit you need to go through a gate in the mine to talk to an NPC to proceed the mission, but it doesn't open, nor does it say it's locked, so on that save, I'm stuck at that bit.

Thankfully, I had made a new save before travelling to Markath. I might have to try it again, as I want to complete all the Thieves Guild quests, and I won't be able to until I can get back to Markath without everyone attacking me!

Anyone tried any mods? I've started a new game after completing it and triedsome Assassins Creed armour, retextured Dragon Priest masks (which look fucking tremendous btw) and I've just seen this. Most of you will be like :D

I did that mission a couple of days ago, think it goes along the lines of...
Spoiler

What bit you stuck at?

Also, had idea of completing this as my stealth guy then going back and trying to do it as a mage and again as a two-handed warrior. The fact it's taken me 60 hours to get to this point suggests it might take a bit more time than I have...

First time I did it, I missed the wee cave entrance where you need to talk to one of the guys, and the gate upstairs can't be opened, so I thought it was a glitch.

Passed it now, and can walk the streets of Markath a free man again Posted Image
