Anyone know what the story is with Gala United? Just read on the BAFL website that Tweeddale Rovers have already been awarded the points for Saturdays upcoming fixture?

Not really a surprise since they owe money all over the place.
Shame really since they have some good players.

This was excuse given by Gala Utd on Sunday but it was interesting to hear they had lost a few players to Earlston and that at least one of their other players was away with Selkirk EOS team could mean there was another reason.

I'd be very surprised if they cease to exist come next season. All seems to be going tits up for them. But you just concentrate on that 6 pointer this weekend mate....

You boys have a friendly last night? Score? Looking forward to our trip to the public park, hopefully not a midweek game so we can enjoy the perks of nikkis bar at it's peak on a Saturday night

That'll be the same BAFL that awarded you a home win on 4th Dec, in similar circumstances. ;)

Might be some truth in that one Andy, Tweedmouth have been in that position before where it feels like every action the league makes, especially regarding fixtures and that seems against you. Suppose it always seems that way at the top. Funny the league have remained tight lipped on the outcome of Gala's no show at Tweedmouth a few weeks ago, yet awarded Tweeddale the points after the first phone call..
