Sorry if i sound a bit angry but just back in from our game today and the bloods still boiling because one of our players was racially abused by an opposing player. 50/50 tackle nothing in it really a bit of verbals until the opposition forward decided to say "Get to f**k you,ya black b*****d!".Mayhem ensued and thankfully the ref was within earshot and sent off the culprit.The guy he abused was understandably shook up and it completely overshadowed the rest of the game. Fair play to there manager who came in to our dressing room after the game and apologised on his Clubs behalf. Ive saw some horrible things in my time in amateur football but never as low as that. Does anyone know what punishment is meted out by the SAFA for Racial Abuse of an opposing player as i cant find any info on this.Thanks

We had a black boy who played in our team and he got dogs abuse from all the pond life from various backwaters across the west of scotland. One of the teams infact, Dunoon, were kicked out of the league for the abuse the boy got.

Its terrible mate its the kind of thing that could cause serious bother,we were two seconds off taking the team off the park. I know its individuals and the boy who said it then said "I didnae know he was black,thought he was just tanned" which kind of somes up the mentality of some amoebas that come out with this kind of filth.

  There was an all-Pakistani team that played down the Glasgow Green Football Centre every Saturday a few years ago. Some guy on the opposing team was frothing at the mouth giving this team abuse. All his team-mates then joined in. Wasn't a particularly nice atmosphere. Some guy then absolutely shredded one of the Pakistani guys with a tackle and the ref just simply called off the game. The second half had just started. 

A few of them had a physical fight on the pitch after the ref ran off. This was about five years ago.
