Sorry if this has been done before. Im a ground fanatic and love visiting different grounds of all levels. Who has the best ground in the amateur leagues. Visited Viewfield Rovers ground and also Harmony Row. I know that most clubs dont own their grounds at this level, but would love to hear about some grounds so I could visit them in the future. Thanks.
St.Mirren and Arthurlie. Nothing can be better!

Easy the best park playing surface wise, but perhaps not ground are the stepps facility owned by strathclyde uni. Also used by Cambria in the safl. 5 grass parks and all of them exceptional.

Star of Markinch is a small village just outside Markinch and Glenrothes. Type star hearts into your search engine for their website.

Some pics on Non League Scotland in the amateur section, there's also the Google Earth file which marks on a fair number too.

As do the local ragamuffins, the pavilion was covered in "Paki's Out" in massive lettering for a while.

On a serious note no teams from the Amateur leagues down here have their own set up, though Lochar Thistle youths have a very impressive set up as do teams like Abbey Vale and Crichton who although they don't play in an amateur league all their players are amateur.

My wee cousin played for his school region team down in Dumfries at Lochar Thistle Youths. You are right I couldnt quite beleive it was a youth set up.
Park was immaculate, better than many senior clubsI .havent seen many better grounds .Lovely welcoming cuppa ,they also gave the lads a crate of juice for the journey home !

Giffnock North has a good set up and before they stopped playing in the amateur league, Strathclyde Police's home park at Lochinch was excellent. Muirend's always have plenty of grass on them, good surface.

lochinch was alright, a bit heavy though. not so much a ground tho. If the guys happy to visit parks then Stepps Complex (Strathy Uni/Cambria) wins hands down. Bowling greens.
