Pretty much missed the entire draft there, apart from my first round pick ( got Cabrera, a Tiger, which is cool). My internet just totally went, and didn't come back on until after the draft was finished. My team looks okay though, no complaints.

Cheers to all who participated. As per usual, there was one ludicrous pick and everyone else did terribly well.
Looking at the rosters, I quite like my team, although I would say that, wouldn't I? Completely forgot I added holds as points, and went for the closer/long relief/starter combo in RP. Other thoughts... starting pitching is ridiculously deep, but first base and third base nowhere near as deep as you'd have thought.

It's a great pick - lulled you all into a false sense of security
Anyway he was on waivers within 5 minutes of the end of the draft.

Sadly though I;m dodging along at the bottom, my pitching rotation aint any good and The Number 1 draft pick has been

No, my team hasn't clicked yet. Pitching, hitting, it's just a slow start. And now Torres is hurt too.

With less than a week to go I've hit 5th in the league - not bad considering all season I've been bumping between 6th and 9th.

How many folk managed to stay active this year then? Were there any midseason trades?
Think the P&B fantasy baseball league is the only one in history which traditionally goes from opening day to the season end without a single trade!

And who was this years ludicrous draft pick? I find it hard to believe that Brian Bocock's 10th round selection can be beaten!

Can't even remotely remember. And yes, there were no trades. It's going to be a very, very close finish this year. I think 8 of the 12 were relatively active.

Haha, who was responsible for Bocock's selection again anyway? I was literally in hysterics for hours over that, especially as I had just watched him in a spring training game.
Probably just as well for you guys that I didn't enter this year, glad it's close nonetheless ;-)

2 days to go -
7 points seperating 5th, 6th and 7th
Kevs Jay Nation looks to have pulled a winning lead of 90 points.

For those playing, it's important to check the news updates on your players. Many will be rested for the rest of the season without being put on the DL. Mark Trumbo being one, Paul Konerko another, Alex Gordon a third....

Well done to Kev's Jay Nation, who won by a mere 46 points from me. This meaning that finally, after four years, the person who sets up the league didn't win for the first time.
Cheers to all who played, and to all who opposed... hmm, well...
