From the A77 take the A719 (Whitletts Road) into Ayr. After passing the racecourse on your left, turn right at the next set of traffic lights for the ground, or turn left to take you down to an unofficial car park. Turning right will take you into Burnett Terrace, then left into Hawkhill Avenue and then right into Somerset Road. The ground is down on the left. There is a small car park at the ground adjacent to the Main Stand which costs £1.50, otherwise there is plenty of street parking to be found in the area around the stadium.

Dumbarton seem to be contributing to the conspiracy by getting hammered every week.

Was excellent to see Danny come off the bench and make an impact hopefully that will help his confidence.
Am I right in saying only Reynold has been sent back to his club?

Aye... sorry... stonewaller.
I suppose its not unusual for big sides to get penalties, especially at a cauldron like Somerset Park. I'm just sick of the diddy's hammer throwers in this league chopping down our skillful starletts.

good for the boys to get sum game time ahead of next week
i really hope mckay can play next week because the differance in when he came on showed massively
two strikers willing to work and we were pressing for a 3rd instead of clinging on to our 1 goal lead when the ball was bouncing off the strikers
woodburn actully did not bad when he came on SITTER he missed but was ok
bring on the hibees (gutted they sold bombscare bamba)

Where was Ben Gordon today, is he away in the sales?
no Chissy or Chaplain either, Del and McStay only subs
How bad was McShane's injury? hope he's ok.
Was it a dodgy pen? Sons Twitter seems to have thought so...
Look forward to Sons TV highlights
Well done Ayr, disapointed but also thankful to get a game really, Forfar next week at the Rock.
Keep your heads up Son's, Stenny lost again and Peterhead didnt play, so were still in there.

We really should have scored one today and didn't and that's maby down to the lack of match action recently but probably more down to good goalkeeping from David Crawford.
Ayr scored the second totally against the run of play and when it went in it was over and they finished comfortably.
We definately didn't disgrace ourselves today and if we can keep similar performances coming then we should be okay.

bannigan got motm today
he was moved into a more central role, he was subbed off probably more due to tiredness and not poor performance

It was never a pen - couldn't believe that decision.
Over the piece we probably just warranted the three points but could have quite easily been two or three points dropped if lady luck wasn't with us... They missed a couple of sitters, eg crawford save when wee sons striker 1 on 1...
Anyway 3 points, happy days, happy new year, bring on the hibeeees
