Did the United fans do the applause?
There was a short debate on LKO the other week about Sheffield United not displaying his name on the team sheet for the Stevenage. I know he couldn't play because he was in the tin pail but looks like United have disowned him.

We had the god awful Jonathan Tehoue on loan last season. Luckily Di Canio realised he was rubbish and sent him back after a couple of games. Nobody could believe how bad he was.
Anyway, this has now came from it, hopefully not true and to be honest more concered over Villa or West Ham coming in for Di Canio

Paolo di Canio is at the centre of a race storm after the FA launched an investigation into his conduct as manager of Swindon.
Di Canio, who led the club to the League Two title in his first year at the helm, will be interviewed by the FA after they received a letter last week from Orient's Jonathan Tehoue.
Tehoue, who spent a short spell on loan at Swindon, claims he was racially abused by Di Canio, and several of Swindon's players who witnessed the alleged remark directed towards Tehoue - after he had left the club - have shown support for the striker.
They are prepared to testify before an FA commission if their manager is charged.
It is the third high-profile incident involving allegedly racist comments the FA have had to investigate this season.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was banned for eight games and fined £40,000 after he was found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra.
The FA also have an ongoing investigation into John Terry's conduct towards QPR's Anton Ferdinand during Chelsea's Barclays Premier League clash at Loftus Road in October.
They are now turning their attentions to Di Canio and believe the allegations against the 43-year-old fall into the same category as Uruguayan Suarez, who was charged with using abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour… and further alleged that this included a reference to the ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race.
Italian Di Canio fell out with Frenchman Tehoue in March. He claimed he had made a mistake signing the forward on loan and told the 28-year-old he would never play for the club again.
Last month former West Ham striker Di Canio said: 'It's a technical decision. He's not as good as I thought he was. It's really impossible to think that he will be on a football pitch for Swindon again.
'My main players give me 100 per cent because they have suffered with me all season.
'I have much better players than him in the way I want them to behave and the way I want them to play.'
Di Canio is later alleged to have made a racially insulting comment about Tehoue in front of Swindon players.
Although Tehoue was not present the tone and manner of Di Canio's comments were later relayed to him by his former team-mates.
Tehoue, who made one start and two substitutes' appearances at Swindon, initially made a complaint to the club's chief executive Nicholas Watkins.
The matter was investigated by the club and they asked Di Canio for his comments, but Swindon refused to confirm whether the manager has been disciplined.
After Di Canio met Watkins, he went back to Italy for a short break before returning to the County Ground at the start of the week.

This would have been round the same time Di Canio said he would resign but was persuaded to stay on.

Di Canio scoops LMA gong
Swindon manager Paolo Di Canio has been named the League Two manager of the year by the League Managers' Association.
The Italian guided the Robins back into League One as fourth-tier champions at the first time of asking, and in his first season as a football manager.
Town interim chairman Jeremy Wray told the Swindon Advertiser: "This season he's done a great job but he's only halfway through. I fully expect him to pick up another trophy next year."
Di Canio beat fellow nominees Martin Ling of Torquay, Mark Yates of Cheltenham and Graham Turner of Shrewsbury to land the award, which was presented at Old Billingsgate in London on Monday night.
Wray added: "It's a thoroughly deserved and proper recognition of what he has achieved in his first season in management.
"He's been honoured by his fellow professionals and he fully deserved it. He's done a fantastic job and seeing everyone stand and applaud him says it all."

Following an article in today's Daily Mail, the club feels it is imperative to put the record straight on a number of points.
There is always a danger that without appropriate response, the headline grabbing approach of tabloid journalism, based on innuendo and sensationalism rather than facts, creates a misguided belief along the lines of 'there is no smoke without fire'.
For the record, STFC states categoricallly that it operates a zero tolerance approach towards racism.
With regard to the specific complaint raised by Jonathan Tehoue, the Board was fully appraised of the facts at the time of the alleged incident back in March and having investigated it, was satisfied that it was without merit and took appropriate action then. The club will of course however happily assist the FA in its enquiries.
The manager, Paolo Di Canio denies completely any suggestion that he used toward Jonathan Tehoue or anyone, abusive, insulting or threatening words or behaviour by reference to race or at all and the Board wishes to affirm its complete and unequivocal support for its manager in this regard.
Further, the Board is wholly satisfied that any decisions concerning Jonathan Tehoue's playing career whilst at STFC, were made for purely footballing reasons.
Di Canio, what a Legend on JPT Final and Swindon "It is the best trophy I can win. Even in 10 years’ time when we win the Champions League I will remember this as the start of my career.”
