Deathclaws are pretty much impossible to kill at lower levels - even at higher levels it's still a very difficult task. Avoid at all costs; that's the best advice I can give.

Yeah just avoid them earlier in the game. They are only at sloan and a couple of other places. If you do take one on try and cripple its leg to slow it down.

The new vegas dlc is part of the 12 days xmas deal today its one day only am guessing they will be half price

2 ed is good. took me a while to get him though as i didnt know you could fast travel and walked to the different places to get the parts

For some reason i cant do the quest where u take him to the scrapyard, talk to the old woman but no options other than what i have spoke to her already about

I was stuck on that. Something sets 2ed off and he starts going on about something but i got no further. It was strange because thats where the marker brings you. Try talking to 2ed then in the circular menu go the bottom left and there is another option to talk to him. I didnt know that was there but i see it now on my second playthrough with boone.

I think it only happens when you get to certain parts of the game then you can take him over to Gibson's Scrap Yard.

Up to level 20 playing through old world blues, anyone else feel that when u get to the strip it can get abit too much with the quests? I hate the white glove cants

The legion are fairly pissed off with me but whats happening now is that everywhere i go 4 legion assasins appear and try to kill me. its happened at least ten times now very regularly. i cant go anywhere without full health

They always have a good bunch of guns and grenades though so i wont complain.

Is this a glitch or did happen to anyone else?

Also what can i do with all the caps?i have about 30,000 now

The legion assasins will keep coming after you, if your reputation is low with them, the exact same happens if you have low reputation with the NCR, wearing legion armour means they won't appear and attack you, but this isn't always possible.

You can use the caps to get upgrades from Dr. Usangi near Westside and the Crimson Caravan, or buy weapons, or weapon mods. Apart from that not much

I found that a pain when i was low level but once u go to the strip something happens and u get pardoned,

I picked up all the DLC for this at Xmas when it was on special offer and have started playing through it again. Am up to about 20 hours now and there was still plenty of quests that I had missed first time round. Just finished the Honest Hearts DLC it was nothing special. Only got Lonesome Road left to play out the DLC.

They also released a DLC with new weapons and challenges.

Old world blues was excellent.

How does the dlc work? do you start with the same weapons and skills you already have or is it like a mini game? can i pick and choose the dlcs or do you need to get all them?

I assume you have an Xbox, so in that case you just purchase the DLC that you want from the Xbox Live marketplace. You'll then get a prompt in the game once it's loaded up with the new content, and you'll have to head to a location on your map or speak to someone to start it. You can take your weapons in and you stay at the level you're at in the main game, obviously it's more challenging the earlier in the game you attempt them. Although, you can't take companions for all of them. And yes, you can pick and choose. Old World Blues is widely regarded as most people's favourites so if you have a limited amount of Microsoft Points, a safe bet would be to go with that one.

Although, I haven't played New Vegas yet, so perhaps best to get a second opinion! This was certainly the case In Fallout 3, and I enjoyed all of the DLC in that game. Generally, the rule is if you have enjoyed the main game, you will enjoy the DLC as it's just an extension of the storyline in most cases.

Turbo_dee has pretty much covered it the DLC in New Vegas work the same Fallout 3 except in NV there is no DLC which continues after the main story/quest.

Some of the DLC would be next to impossible at a really low level but I started Honest Hearts at around level 8 without too much problems.

You dont have to get them all and Old World Blues is the only one worth 800 points. The DLC has been on sale twice now with them all priced at 400 points so you might want to wait until they are on sale to pick up the other DLC.

Assuming you've played Fallout 3, how does the New Vegas DLC compare to the ones from Fallout 3? I had the game of the year edition so completed all of them, Point Lookout was probably my favourite.
