If you go on google maps, saughton is on Stevenson Road, Edinburgh.

We play our home games there and the 3g pitch is really good.

Think ESV have a good chance with home advantage. Harestanes were the best team we have played this season by miles, decent bunch of lads too.

SO WE PLAYED KENNOWAY AND LOST 2-1

WE TOOK THEM TO SALSBURH PARK . . .TIGHTAND BOGGY - PLAYED RIGHT INTO THEIR HANDS.
THESE BOYS ALL MUSTA HAD THE SAME GYM MEMBERSHIP AS ALL 11 WERE SAME HEIGHT SIZE WEIGHT N BUILD, GENUINELY SCARY HOW THEY WERE ALL MOULDED THE SAME!!

KENNOWAY DESERVED THE WIN BECAUSE THEY WANTED IT MORE, NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE A BETTER SIDE. FOR A TEAM WHO MAKES THE 1/4 OR 1/2S EVERY YEAR THEY ARE BANG AVERAGE AND A MEAN IT.

IF WE HAD USED THE AIRDRIE STADIUM WE WOULDA ROLLED THEM OVER BUT FOR SUM REASON THE GAFFER WANTED THIS GAME PLAYED AND PLAYED TO THEIR STRENGTHS.

SCOTLAND SCOUT THERE AGAIN YESTERDAY TO WATCH BIG STAN (GRAEME RILEY) U THINK THEY WOOD TAKE THE HINT AND REALISE HES NOT INTERESTED HA!!

BUT ALL BEST TO KENNOWAY IN NEXT ROUND AGAINST GARTCOSH!

pmsl sounds like sour grapes to me sidney, kennoway played bad and won which is the sign of a good team, but all teams have bad games, you are judging them on one game
kennoways pitch is one of the biggest in fife ,and the astro would have suited them just as much as yous, one of the reasons kennoway make later stages of scottish every year is because they win games like the one against cruix and can grind out results even when not playing well , yous are a decent side but need to learn how to take defeat,
its easy to say we would have rolled them over on a big pitch , and i hope either gartcosh or st james read your post and take us to a big park
one of the strongest sides we have played in years so all the best for rest of season my tip for the east

where does it sound like sour grapes??

i said they wanted it more and wanted to win and thats how they get to the semis n quarters ever year!! they know what it takes!

the observation was that they were a "howf" it up the park team. they never passed the ball at all, BUT they got the result and thats all that matters in the end and fair play to the lads.maybe adapted to their surroundings. either way well done. and a wish kennoway all the best for the future rounds.

we had a chat yesterday in the dressing room about the game, and after all the shoutin n bitchin we all agreed our application wasnt right n the kennoway lads showed the endeveavour which is needed to win the tight games!!

and a take back the bang average comment which was heat of the moment coz we were so gutted after losing because we felt we played better than the opposition which is football in a nutshell!

got a wee win in the east of scotland yesterday - 4-1 againt edinburgh rose. passed them to death. good result and Mr Knapp was there watchin graeme riley again.

maybe fit a league game in somewhere haha!

With it being the last 32 does anyone have any predictions for the cup...

Some big teams potentially facing in the 32 meaning some wont be getting to last 16... Could be the year for an underdog to come through!?

I know Hugh Carswell had a scout watching your game against Kennoway, your guy may be one he was watching but I know that he was also watching 3 from Kennoway, 2 of which already are international players. Did'nt know he sent Hugh Knapp along on Saturday though!!

yeah a know the kennoway boys have players in the scotland set up - one which we thought was justified n the other not but maybe a bad day. one game judgement is maybe harsh on the tall skinny lad (the odd one out of the team)

regards to who a think will win the cup - a cant see past the drum - as long as david mckay, beanzy and anthony mcgroagan stay fit theres no one a can see beating them on their day (but its the cup - u neverknow)

one to watch maybe is mossblown. . . . but gd luck to everyone

I'll stick with the Drum too as per my first post, Pollock, Colville Park and Hurlford still in there too are ones to watch, the Dundee teasm I dont know anything about but they have had some good results in this cup so far so maybe a dark horse from that league.

yip have heard good things about Dunlop emerging as a contender from the Ayrshire leagues, they have it tough though they need to get past Drum FP before they face Drum Utd all the best to them though.
