Team Lines

30. In all league matches and cup ties an official of the respective teams shall, not later than the beginning of the game, hand to the referee team lines, in duplicate, containing the names (Christian names in full) and home addresses of the players in their team. Any player signed within four days of the match in which they take part must clearly be indicated as a new signing on the team sheets. The referee shall, after signature, exchange one copy with the respective officials, before the game begins, and forward the remaining copy, together with the result of the game to reach the Match Secretary no later than the third day (excluding Sunday) following the match. Numbers must be worn on players' shirts and must be recorded accurately on the team lines. Each offence shall incur a £5 fine up to a maximum of £25. Should a player be found to be ineligible and not indicated as a new signing by his club, Rule 41 shall apply.

Playing Ineligible Players
41. Where a club is proved to have played an ineligible player in a league match, such club will have three points deducted for each infringement, after investigation by the General or Executive Committee, together with such other penalty as either Committee may decide and the match or matches concerned may be replayed or the points awarded to their opponents. In a Cup-tie such club will be excluded from the competition. The match will not be awarded to their opponents unless they have made a successful protest.

Reminder!!

Just a heads up, check the above, pass it on to your match secys, or whoever fills in your team lines. This new adjustment to rule 30 was brought in at the last AGM.

I would imagine there would be a lot of players signed in the last few days, so be vigilant and mark them down as *new signing*!!!!

So basically if your club has signed a player from Wednesday onwards - you'll have to mark it down!
