Just tried a mock draft. This looks pretty sweet. Hope we get a good few people in for the real draft now.

Draft order should be assigned by 8pm automatically
I take it it's random, then top to bottom, bottom to top?

3rd - happy days.
Although it's an awkwards one, Johnson and Peterson will both go, I don't know if I really want MJD

If anyone has any particular suggestions ( i.e., guys they know, guys who support rival teams ), then give us a shout so I can sort out a rivalry week, where everyone is playing a more significant game. It doesn't mean much but it'll add something hopefully.

it was only 342 picks

I was only about 5/6 picks from the end but just couldn't take much more of it.
I was making lists for players to pick and by the time it got to me nearly all of them had gone and this happened at every pick.

Everyone should post up their team name so we all know who we are playing against.
I'm "Mary Fae Maryhill"
Quite pleased with my starting line up:
Alex Smith at QB - this really is his breakthrough year and he is who I wanted at QB for this game (I was never going to go early to get one of the main 3 or 4)
Maurice Jones Drew at RB - I was third in the draft and I was very very tempted to go for Ray Rice but there is more of a RB core at Baltimore, there isn't really anyone behind MJD so he may get more carries. Whilst it will be a toss up who gets more yards over the season I can see MJD getting in the endzone more often than Rice
Beanie Wells at RB - an awkwards choice, cause I was third and got MJD all the star names were gone when it came back round to me. Leinart has had an average pre-season by all accounts so there should hopefully be more emphasis on the run in Arizona this year.
Greg Jennings at WR - not in the elite group of WR but Green Bay love to pass the ball, Jennings is reliable and with a QB as good as Rodgers should be able to make some plays.
Devin Hester at WR - best known for his work on special teams when he had that amazing season. People seem to be tipping Cutler to "not be as shite as everyone expects him to be" so hopefully the Bears will air out some balls to Hester.
Kenny Britt at WR - no idea really, picked him cause he was more likely to start than the rest of the names that were left at the time.
Jason Witten at TE - a solid performer, would have loved Vernon Davies at this position though. Romo and the Dallas seem to be in turmoil, hopefully they play safe and use the tight end a fair bit next season.
Janickowski as kicker, kicker's don't really matter but he is one of the few I can actually name and tell you who he plays for. Hopefully Campbell and Jokeland come up short more often than not and he slots them away.
New Orleans Saints D - not renowned for their D and certainly aren't one of the best but as with offense they can be explosive and have a habit of going for the big plays as well. Fingers crossed.
EDIT - on the rosetr screen one or two of my players have a red asterix beside the yellow symbol they all have, what does this mean? I fucking hope its not injury or inactive or something?

The yellow symbol indicates news about the player, the red asterisk on the news means that it's recent news.
While I'm here, may as well say that my team is AC Mullaney. Really excited about the league, it should be pretty different from the one I was in last year seeing as it's much bigger, meaning everyone's going to be relying on perhaps lesser known players to come through for them.

My team is the Port Pirates, felt that the draft was really tough given the amount of teams but thats what makes it more entertaining, you end up with players you would not normally draft. My team at the moment consists of :-
Brett Favre
Chad Ochocinco
Pierre Garcon
Jericho Cotchery
Frank Gore
Tim Hightower
Brent Celek
Lawrence Tynes
Green Bay DST
No matter how many times I did the mock draft I never ended up with a team like that! But who knows, thats what is so good about the NFL! Near the end I took the chance on picking 3 rookies : - Sam Bradford, Robert Gronkowski and Michael Hoomanawanui.
Roll on season 2010/11!
