We're at home two on the bounce. No idea what our first game will be like, but we've already beaten Dunblane in pre-season and will be confident of winning that if we can get through our first round tie.

See i really wanted your lot (I take it you still play for Riverside) but it isn't to be. Civil should be decent and that will be a tough game for you.

Also interesting to see that only 9 Borders teams entered, thought more teams would have fancied a crack at the BIG cup.

No chance of a Borders team doing really well in this cup apart from a lucky draw! I can think of many other things to spend funds on than a night on the lash for the playersPosted Image Bah Humbug!
It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

Leithen Rovers got to the last 32 5 years ago! Not a bad accomplishment!

There is always the odd run, how much of that would you say was luck of the draw? How many home games did you have? I remember Heriot had to go to the Highlands and Islands one year when they had a "run" in the Scottish.

Can't remember the exact venue but it took weeks to eventually get it played. Players were away for the entire weekend. Current players moan if they are not home in time for theresults and X Factor Posted Image Posted Image !

We have a bye in the first round then a wee jaunt up the road to Perth for a second round game against Burrelton Rovers. Typed there name into google and seen that they finished 3rd in there league last season. No idea if thats the top league, second league or Premier though.

If I remember correctly the rovers travelled to fife, paisley, aberdeen and then finally Glasgow. So not many home games
