<<-----------Titans
Made a decision 15 years or so ago to support all the Houston teams. No idea why.
Obviously they moved to Memphis, then Nashville, so I just stuck with them. Remember I got cable installed late 1999 and followed the Titans path through the playoffs to the Superbowl. Including this against the Bills......
"THERE ARE NO FLAGS ON THE FIELD", still gives me goosebumps.
Beaten by the pretty awesome Rams team with my most hated player ever, Kurt Warner by a touchdown. We got the ball to the one yard line as time expired.
Followed them ever since.

That one yard short clip is what I love about the NFL so much drama, I love getting caught up in the hype that only the Americans could make it sound so epic.

I started to watch it with my dad when I was about 5. He supported the Redskins so I asked who there rivals were, he said the Giants and it started from there. A year later the won the supebowl afainst the Bills. Happy days

I follow Phillidelphia Eagles. Have done for a few years now. Story behind it is I played basketball when at school and bought myself a philly 6ers jersey, as I liked watching them at the time, and as I became more aware and interested in other American sports I decided to follow all the Phillidelphia teams (as some of you may know from the NHL thread).
I managed a full preseason with my uni American Football side before doing the ligaments in my left knee. Not that that will help with my picks though

49ers.
Been a fan since I started watching original channel 4 coverage. Red and White strips clinched it.
Going to get to three 9ers games this season. Wembley game against Broncos and then two games at the stick against Rams and Bucaneers. Cannot wait.

I think RH left it publicly open when he set up so some of them might just be randoms who stumbled on it.
To be honest I'd prefer it if it was just us on here. The point is to be the P&B champ (it's very unlikely anyone is going to win overall). I'm not really bothered about having dozens of entrants if they aren't posters from here.
In the unlikely event that they ARE all posters from here though that's great.

New York Jets
For no better reason than the first game of NFL I ever watched properly saw the Jets beat Miami 51-45 in a shoot out and I was captured. Had it been an awful match maybe I'd never have watched it again. My best friend at the time was a Bears fan and made me watch it when I was round at his house. It was back in the days when Channel 4 used to show a game of the week highlights and then scoring from the other games on a Sunday, a week after the games were played. Would have been about 1985 or 86 maybe.

Never really got into American football when it started on Channel 4, and it wasn't until I went to college in 1989 where a guy in my class was right into it (and still is, despite being a 'Skins fan
It would be nice to think that one day, they'll get to another Superbowl whilst I'm on the planet.

yeah lots of people say that but he's one of those love him or hate him guys.
And in reply to the guy a few posts up going to the wembley game, I'll be hopefully going down to that too, missed when the giants were here a few years back sadly... The next wave of tickets go on sale on the 13th I'll probably get end zone seats.

Gonna have a long wait bud.
Seriously, as a Titans fan I doubt we'll ever win the whole thing. We just don't have the resources the other teams do.
For me Jeff Fisher is the best coach in NFL history never to win it all. 15+ years with the same team and a good winning record. Even with some 5-11 seasons thrown in. Goes to show what some other smaller teams could achieve if they stcuk by their head coach.

Agreed.
Favre is annoying and well past it. Hope Brees shows him how it's done tonight. As a Packers legend how could you even contemplate playing for a divisional rival?

It was obvious that when he left the Packers that he wanted to go to the Vikings. He didn't give a shit when he played his 1 year at the Jets!

I think we'll do really well this year.
CJ will go close to 2K again if his head doesn't disappear up his ass. Don't like reading this pish about him going for 2500. It's a team game. Lose the ego.
I think Vince Young will have a good year. Not the best passer but like his mentor McNair, he's unpredictable.
I like our mix of receivers. Britt had a decent rookie year and if he can screw the nut will be a legend. Personally I love Justin Gage. And with Nate Washington starting we have the right mix.
Not sure how our defense is going to be this year. Our front four are fantastic. Our secondary are a lot better than got battered at New England last year. Cortland Finnegan would start for any team in the NFL. Only problem is our linebackers, Keith Bullock is a huge loss, great pickup for the Giants.
Head says 10-6 and a wildcard place. Heart says 13-3 and beating the Colts and Manning(cunto).
In Jeff we trust.
