Leithen Rovers signings so far are:
Mark Wilson(GK) from Vale of Leithen
Chris Borthwick(CB) and Ross Forrest(CB) from peebles rovers
We have another 3 new boys training who we are hoping to tie up this weekend!
Potentially another 3 to come in as well!

In at Eyemouth we have:

Paul Black
Alan Spiers
Tom Ireland
David Spouse
Jamie Logie

Thats the only new players I think we have brought in but still retained the bulk of last seasons squad with only real big loss probably being Steven Dougall to Glasgow Uni's team.

The only ones that are defo away are Hastie, Lowrie, Crouchy and Blaikie. There are still one or 2 that are undecided on whether they are playing again. Tosh is playing for us tonight against Vale of Leithen. He has been playing with Linton, but he has also trained with us. Linton started earlier than us and therefore have played a lot of friendlies, us on the other hand, we have only played one.

Does that mean the rest of last seasons squad have signed? Has hastie retired or has he gone elsewhere?

Hastie has retired. The rest of last seasons squad have been at training and will be signed this week, with the exception of 2 or 3 who are still deliberating on whether they can handle another season!

Can I ask for information about your team weebigman?! I have been openly honest with you.

Don't have a team anymore mate, retired about 3 seasons. Played with tweeddale and peebles rovers. Try to watch any of the local teams whenever they are at home and like to keep interested in what's happening at these clubs and like to see them doing well

I should have also said, that we have lost ger rossi. Not sure what his plans are at the moment, but I think he has been training with the fairies. Great player and will be sorely missed!

I'm pretty sure that he signed on the back of a beer mat at the end of season trip to york, shame that I have lost it!!!Posted Image

I am not going to bite mate! Ger is a great player on his game, albeit he aint had much luck with injuries lately, but Im sure that luck will change. Good luck to him.

I 2nd you there mate, ger is a great wee player but like you said he hasn't had much luck with injuries. I'm sure he would still be at the vale if not a higher level if it wasn't for his injuries. Have heard he is moving back abroad, anyone know if there is any truth in the rumour?

Ive heard that as well! I hope whatever he does, he gets better luck! We loved having him at the rovers and was sad to see him go! Although the door will always be open for the wee man!
