Thanks for the info and hopefully it will stop raining at some point between then and now and a few games can actually be played.

Having a closer look at the fixtures and is there any reason 4 teams aren't playing on the Tuesday 7th of September?

Also a great game to start the season in the A Division with Gala Rovers playing Chirnside.

Chirnside have got a hard start, away to Gala/Penc/Duns.

Not sure about teams having days/nights off.

This may be a rather obvious question: but why is there a full card of matches on Tuesday 7th September, but not the preceding 2 midweeks? In particular when Scotland v Liechtenstein is the same night, and the kick-off time for an until midweek game would be 5:45pm at best?

Not a criticism or anything, each to their own... it just seems a slightly bizarre midweek to choose having not used preceding 2.

Not 100% certain why, but the league usually kicks off a week later(last week in Aug)with NO midweeks, there was not a great deal of notice issued to clubs regarding the change of start or a midweek fixture so I think some were caught out. The league may have delayed the midweek fixture to let the clubs get organised.

Should have retired full fu**ing stop......be prepared for an ego the size of Iceland and a few red cards per game, he can't handle being talked to in EOS he most certainly aint gonna handle being talked to in the Border Ams league!!

Well noticed HibeeJibee, I've always thought that amateur leagues shouldn't play when Scotland are at home since quite a number of players like to go to the games and it always causes problems.

Hopefully common sense will prevail and the fixtures will be brought forward a week.
