Is the ground anywhere near Motherwell train station? If not, any directions to get to it from the station? Or would I be better getting a bus from Glasgow and getting off at a specific stop in the area?

No not near train station. Its about 1 mile away . Easiest way is taxi 2 colville park it will cost you £3 but a lot easier than trying to get a bus. Bus stop outside train station looking for the airdrie / newarthill buses & then ask the driver when to get off. Dont know times off buses sorry. 10 mins in taxi or 15 - 20 mins in bus . Hope this helps you but im probably to late with the reply
