Duns Amateur FC are starting fundraising to upgrade their Gavinton changing facilties and have arranged two pre season friendlies - one against Hearts and one against Hibs. The Hearts game is on Thursday 22nd July and the Hibs game is on Monday 2nd August. Both games kick off at 7.30pm, admission is £3, parking is free, refreshments will be on sale and a 1/2 time draw with some Hearts / Hibs goodies to be won. Come along and enjoy the action!

Was there at the last hibs game , thought it was very well run ! even thou duns took a bit of a beating the wee guy burns who plays up front scored the goal of the game . Good luck to Duns with the fundraising . Reading on here that duns look to have a strong side this year i look forward to the games , so count me in walt !!!!

Excellent that Duns are able to bring such names to Gavinton. Superb quality pre-season for Duns btw in terms of opposition: as well as these 2 sides, friendlies v Heriot-Watt Uni + Vale of Leithen (both EOS Premier). Top drawer.

Kick off times for both games have been brought forward to 7pm

duns 0 hearts 2 last night,good performance from duns against proffesional players,hearts started with smith,robinson and mulrooney who all played 1st team football at tynecastle last season.
decent crowd on a lovely night.

Sounds like good stuff, and JJ hasn't forgotten his Border roots. Good for the profile of the Border Am too.
