I would but I can only play after midnight (Xbox is on the living room TV and have to wait till everyone else is in bed), and I can't seemed to get logged onto Xbox live to play online :(

Just accepted a contract offer from Renault for my 3rd season. Can't wait, love the black/gold livery and the sound of the car! :D

The penalty system is a beyond a joke. You crash/spin the AI automatic penalty, AI spin/crash you and no penalty. Codemasters said they would fix the penalty system and didn't, just like they said they'd fix the AI to make them more agressive at overtakes and didn't. Hopefully fixed for the patch.

They also said there would be mechanical failures for the player and also the AI, a season a a a half in and I am yet to come across one. Also, the Safety Car is a bit pointless, over 30 races and it's been out twice.

I've had KERS and DRS failures and 1 engine failure. Safety Car was too rushed, don't think it works. I always lose 3-4 seconds to the next car because they get a better start.

Penalty system is deffinately flawed, If you ride a kerb wrong or touch the grass at a corner you get warnings then penalties for "Repeat corner cutting."

I think I've had one KERS failure in the first race of my 2nd season. When they said mechanical failures, I was expecting huge engine blow outs like you got in the old 1997 game!

I also agree about the penalty system. If you put one wheel over past the kerb you get done for corner cutting, and if you are a back marker and block someone you get done but passing back markers is a right pain in the ass. They are meant to slow down AND move out the way but they just slow down right in front of you. I was going mental when I was leading in Monaco cos I was losing 5-6 seconds per back marker. Also, I have lapped a back marker and they have moved over to go back onto the racing line too soon, touched me, spun and I get penalised for causing a collision!

Button has spun me off twice and given me penalties. c**t.

Tried a random grand prix with Schumacher at Nurburgring-can really notice the difference with a better car with kers. The mercedes is a great car to drive.
Long ball (often colloquially referred to as 'hoofball') is the term used in association football to describe an attempt, often speculative, to distribute the ball a long distance down the field via a cross, without the intention to pass it to the feet of the receiving player.

It is a technique that can be especially effective for a team with either fast or tall strikers. The long ball technique is also a through pass from distance in an effort to get the ball by the defensive line and create a foot race between striker and defender.[1] While often derided as either boring or primitive,[2] it can prove effective where players or weather conditions suit this style; in particular, it is an effective counter-attacking style of play in which some defenders can be caught off-guard.

Started a new career with the Patch coming out today. Started with Williams, qualified in 18th just behind Rubens, made my way up to 7th by the end of the first lap and stayed there keeping Kobayashi behind me for the rest of the race. Probably using no aids is better as it's a better race and don't end up running away with the victory like you do with aids on.

Four races to go in my Williams season and I am leading the title by four points from Webber. Finished 11th in Suzuka, was leading and looking good for the win but got a right rear puncture half way round the lap and had to limp back to the pits. Took ages for the mechanics to change the tyre too!

I fucking love Montreal and Sao Paulo. :D
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.
Die, die, die....I can't

The career mode could be better for 2012. Should make it like F1:CE, have to test for teams to get a drive or be a test driver and complete the objectives to get a practice session or race drive, instead of just picking from the teams.

And there should be driver ratings like FIFA etc for overtaking, qualifying, racing.

Won the title in Abu Dhabi last night after finishing 2nd, four seconds behind Button - despite being given two drive through's and a 20 second penalty after the race for corner cutting!

My save game stopped loading shortly before the patch came out so had to start a new one now it's installed. Felt my efforts in an HRT had justified a move to a Williams and qualified 17th in Melbourne. It was chucking it down for the race and made it to sixth by the first lap and was still there when other people started pitting. My team wanted me to stop too, they were told to piss off and I clung on to win on my debut :D

The rain is helping my sensational form. A wet qualifying in Malaysia saw me second on the grid and I fluked the win. More rain in China saw me qualify on pole then motor away from the field to win by miles

Sadly next up is Turkey and not a cloud in the sky :(

Had my best win in torrential rain in China last night. Qualified P2 +0.049 behind Button, into the first corner I held that position but half way round the lap I spun and ended up 6th. Managed to pass Rosberg, Vettel and Hamilton into the hairpin (the AI cars really are early brakers!!) and started to chase down Alonso and Button. The three of us were sprinting away from the rest of the pack at about one second a lap. About lap 10 I passed Alonso and on lap 13 I took the lead from Button, then on lap 14 I got a puncture. Limped back to the pits and came out 5th. Within two laps I was 2nd again, but 20 seconds behind Button who didn't pit during the race. Caught him on the 3rd last lap and took the lead on the 2nd last. Won by a second and I almost spun coming out the last corner!

Anyone still playing this? Played it for the first time in months the other night and done two half races in my career. Finished 2nd behind Button in Canada, and won by 40 seconds in Valencia which was kinda boring.

Won the championship in my first season with Williams. Moved to Ferrari and won all 19 races on pro difficulty. No point continuing with my career really!

After watching the F1 over the last couple of races i thought i would break this one back out for a few more races.

I am still waiting to get the co-op trophies so if anyone fancies it or even just a few races on line let me know (PS3)
