I realise it is a bit early, but has there been any transfer activity by anyone in the Border Leagues yet?!

OUT: Gary Hastie(Retired), Scott Crawford GK(think he is going to either gala hotspur or gala utd), Craig Lowrie(Has a new job and is only available every second weekend so he is thinking of hanging up boots).

Few players in the pipeline for coming in, but nothing concrete yet!

Shaun Hardie at Gala Rovers is apparently wanted by Fairydean and Selkirk which isn't really a shock.

I thought they may have given it a go with Tranent Juniors, I see they are now in the LEAFA Saturday leagues. Why East Linton?
It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

Gordon Rollo (chuff) and Chris Craig will be taking the team.

Other guys going with them.

Chuff and Chris both coming to end of playing days and decided to give it a bash.Chuff also lives in East Linton.

As far as im aware none of the guys are going to Tranent.

Aye Shaun Hardie Gala Rovers player of the year? He might clean up at the awards ceremony this weekend? The lad has banged in 20 odd goals and really improved tremendously as a footballer? Heard he has agreed to do pre season at Selkirk? Hopefully he doesnt sign for them, a feel it wud be the wrong move not a very good football team!!!

Good league though Boab to ply your trade in. If he's as good as has been said, he'll shine, albeit imo at the wrong end of the table
Only here for sex and danger

What a dislikeable c**t you are (only on derby day)

Aye a decent standard of football if you are a top 4-5 team? A wudnt want to be on the end of a beating most weekends and at best Selkirk are a good amatuer side? Decent enough bunch of lads and a commitee who put in a lot of time and hard work but are every year the team trying to avoid relegation!! Shame reallyPosted Image
