Earlston 3 Linton 0. Great win for The Rhymers with goals from Gibby (direct from a corner) Neil Laidlaw (HT 2 - 0) before your Chunky hitman,el capitano,or just plain Dinger, settled the game scored the third. Good game and a good all round team parformance from The Rhymers.
Earlston Team - Turnbull, Watson, C Lothian, Turner, Martin, Robetson, Olsen, Goordie, Gibson, Laidlaw and Craig Bell. subs Cammie Bell, G Cockburn, Ritchie S Robertson, Elliot.

Deserved win for Earlston who were the better team on the night. Was down at the Peebles 7s today and there was a lot of chat about Hotspur and their missing players costing them their second Cup of the season. It definitely didn't look like the usual Hotspur performance. Midfield for Hotspur showed very little desire for the ball and struggled in possession. Centre backs get pass marks as did the keeper. Well done Earlston.
