I went to watch this game and both teams did well in the sweltering heat, the Spurs had their chances and will rue their misses but the match winning goal was a beauty and came from the only player in the Tweeddale side that looked like scoring. Both teams conducted themselves well and even Jimmy Moffat (who has taken some stick recently) was on his best behaviour shaking hands before and after the game with his opposite number, the only time he did shout was to tell the Tweeddale fans to calm down! Another plus side was the 3 match officials who worked well as a team, I thought the ref showed a lot of common sense and kept his cards mostly in his pocket.
It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

aye the goal to win was a great effort i must say. the ref and linesmen had a goos game and kept the game flowing only thing i had against him was y i didnt either get a pen or get booked for diving straight after the teewdale goal. i asked the ref and he said i had dived but he should have booked me if thats what he thought? but apart from that they got everything else spot on from my ppoint of view.

watched game on Saturday, Hotspur unluck not to go in at half time in the lead seemed to tire in second half, maybe game on Thursday night took its toll, Great goal form Tweeddale to win game good to see two border teams play with young players. Thought the young hotspur right back had a great first half but like his team seemed to tire in second half. Agree lines men and reff handled game well good luck to both teams next season
