How many riders ride with a still half broken leg and a fucked up shoulder?
Also, the many riders that ride with injuries don't do well á la Rossi.
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.

Point taken...although race commentaters always mention his injury if he isnt fast.
most riders still race with injuries ...pedrosa-broken hip , lorenzo- 2 broken ankles, both carried onto bikes no complaints.

New season about to start this weekend under the floodlights of losail circuit, quatar. Cant wait.
Predictions for this race ....honda 1,2,3 stoner ,pedrosa, simoncelli.
Stoner has been truly awsome in pre-season testing, rossi still moaning about a sore shoulder (excuses).. can he not just take a painkiller injection ?

Rossi will win by 6.3 seconds.
Lorenzo and Pedrosa will finish second and third.

First Race of the season on at 6.30 BBC 2 Tonight.
Stoner on pole and Rossi starting from back in 9th, Hopefully see a masterclass with Rossi coming through the field to win it.
Looking forward to see how Spies does on the Yamaha this year.

2nd race of the season today and at the minute it's raining which might shake things up a bit and cause a few mistakes from the drivers.

Interesting comments from stoner to rossi after the race at jerez... stoner said on live tv "obviously your ambition outweighs your talent"

Stoner wins at Le Mans today. Dani Pedrosa has broken his right collarbone
Marco Simoncelli was given a drive through penalty for the incident when he was on course for 2nd place, very, very harsh decision. Seems that everytime a driver "might" be a cause of another driver's crash, they always get a penalty these days.
Excellent race to watch though, nearly every position being fought out. Dovisioso v Rossi v Lorenzo for 2nd, Spies vs Hayden for 6th, and Barbera, Abraham, Elias, Bautista and Capirossi for 9th. Only guys who didn't really have a challenge were Stoner (1st) and Aeyoma (?) in 8th. Simoncelli v Pedrosa was exciting until the crash, de Puniet, Crutchlow, Capirossi and Edwards didn't finish.

Never should have been a penalty.

Spies has been dissapointing this year imo, after showing so much promise in his rookie year.
The championship now looks like its between stoner and lorenzo.
Hopefully its decided in the final round.

Sad reason to bump the thread. Marco Simoncelli succumbed to his injuries after a horror crash in Malaysia. Simoncelli lost the front of the bike and either held on on was trapped as it game across the track... unfortunately he was hit by Edwards and Rossi, Edwards suffering a dislocated shoulder while Rossi returned to the pits on his bike.
Coming so soon after Wheldon's death its difficult to explain why I love motorsport some times.

Was really horrific. The loss of his helmet in the impact meant he never really stood a chance.

I just saw the crash and really feel sick watching it straight away you can see that there was no coming back from that.

I'm not a massive MotoGP fan, but I do watch it. That crash was awful, I genuinely felt a bit sick seeing it. Absolutely horrific.

Two deaths in a row I've seen live in less than a week. Horrific crash. RIP Marco, you were a legend in the making
