I prefer the stock Android message system. Found the others too fiddly and buggy.

Handcent for me. The stock one is awful. I liked the one in HTC Sense and Handcent comes closest, in my opinion

Go SMS for me. In fact, since discovering Go Launcher Ex, I'm using pretty much everything 'Go'.

The stock one is the buggy one for me - it refuses to show stored contact information for incoming SMSs and just displays their phone number.

Without looking back the entire thread, what's the best app for train times?
"Dundee United's fans arguably the best in Scottish football: good-humoured, fun, love their team."

Without a doubt - Rail Planner Live

It costs a couple of quid, but well worth it

Money Saving Apps. Came across this article the other day, thought some of the apps might be of use to some people on here.

If you've got a high spec device then GTA III is absolutely superb!

Two things though - it downloads a load of data after install and I have a Samsung Note, which has a great display and a top end processor 8)

That depends on your point of reference really. Compared to an iphone, kind of. Compared to my old Dell Streak, no ;)

It does have a 5.3" screen, so, yes, is probably too big for some

Works on my Galaxy S and works well , which I found surprising seeing as it apparently doesn't work on all the S2 models.

Trying not to imagine how good it'll look on Mr X's G.Note.

Its telling me its not compatible :o :( Hopefully, its just because Ive changed the LCD density

edited to add - could be because its rooted <_<

Bit of a damp squid of an announcement really. Only a handful of supported devices, no tablet support, incompatible with ICS and rooted phones. Way to drum up some interest, Sky

Seemed fine on my HTC Desire through the home wi-fi, although I now permanently have the wee symbol in the corner saying storage space is low.

Quality was decent for trying to watch streaming on a phone.

Given that it's free, Real Football is pretty decent and better than PES.
