Swanson vs St Johnstone at Tannadice, stunning conrol & volley from 20 yards.
"Dundee United's fans arguably the best in Scottish football: good-humoured, fun, love their team."

For us if I had a top 3-
Higdon v Falkirk- dipping half volley from 35 yards
Dargo v Hearts- volley from the edge of the box
Dargo v Falkirk- great shot over his head from virtually on the touch line.
Might well add in Mehmet in the Cup Semi and Innes v Aberdeen as good finishes.

1. Danny Swanson vs. St Johnstone. Takes it on the volley, pokes it into the air to avoid the defender and then sends a dipping volley screaming into the corner. Beautiful, must have watched it 20 times on the replay.
2. Jon Daly vs. Falkirk. His first goal, mainly for the absolutely outrageous flick from Goodwillie which perfectly slipped the ball to Swanson who set up Daly. If Gerrard/Lampard/Rooney had done it then a enfeebled Andy Gray would still be showing us replays for the 478th straight hour. Got shockingly little coverage.
3. Craig Conway vs. St. Mirren. Great free kick from 25 yards out. Totally fooled the keeper and put it on a postage stamp in the top left corner of the goal.
Honourable mentions to Swanson's against St. Mirren, Webster against Hibs (great strike for a defender), Gomis' first against Hearts (for the brilliant breakaway that would have and Jon Daly's first against Falkirk as a perfect example of route one football.

Between Ian Black's 25 yard thunderbolt in off the bar against Falkirk. Or Nade's turn and curled finish into the far right corner against St Johnstone from outside the box.
"I remember all of them, and every single one was a deliberate stab through the heart of Hibernian Football Club. Nothing against the fans but you lot have to understand that when Hibs didn't sign me, I wanted revenge. Some folk laugh at that and say: ‘What, all 27?' I suppose maybe 25 were punishment; the other two I banged in just for the hell of it."

Forbes against St Johnstone was a belter. Hateley's free kick against the dirt was also a beast. Forbes' goal against Hearts was a goodun aswell.

Swanson's versus St Johnstone was a total belter. One of the best goals I've seen anywhere this season.

For a team who rarely score, we do score a few belters. Our top three would have to be:
1. Michael Higdon's 30-40 yard screamer against Falkirk.
2. Billy Mehmet's strike from the edge of the box against Kilmarnock.
3. Craig Dargo's 18 yard volley against Hearts.
For me, Higdon's was the best, and potentially goal of the season.

man if we didn't concede so many great goals we might even be higher up the league!
Liam Craig's goal vs Hibs in the 5-1 was a good strike.
Collin Samuel vs Celtic in August was also good but we got humped 5-2

We score so few, every one's a gem
But apart from the Black & Nade efforts, Bouzid's header against the 'tic, That Gordon Smith volley against the cabbage & best of the lot, Eggy's overhead kick at Pittodrie.

How could I forget Eggy's overhead kick?
Still wouldn't have it as the best as although it was a good goal he kind of just fell into it rather than it being acrobatic.

Pedro's against Hearts - superb build-up play and an excellent finish.

Totally agree with other hearts fans so far.
1) Black v Falkirk
2) Eggy v Aberdeen
3) Nade v St Johnstone
Plus an honourable mention for fluke of the season, Wallace against Falkirk.

Any of those for me. I'm annoyed that out of all the games i've been to this season, i ve had to watch every one of these on the telly.

We've not had that many in the SPL that have been outstanding despite the fact we are top scorers outside the OF.
I'll plump for Sammy at Celtic Park. A bit of individual brilliance in an arena where it's seldom the away team that displays that sort of skill.
Any of Hardie's 2 freekicks or Grainger's wonder strike at NDP are also worth mentioning.

dargo's against hearts for me.
higdon's against falkirk was a cracker but i think he just smashed it as hard as he could. dargo's technique was superb to be able to catch it on the volley.

Stokes goal against rangers at ibrox was by far our best goal of the season followed by deeks free kick vs killie last weekend.

From my vantage point in the upper deck behind the goal, Websters effort against Hibs definately took a deflection on the way in. He did score a better one at Motherwell from similar distance which didn`t require the aid of a deflection, also produced a fine finish in the 3-2 win against St Johnstone in September.
