The Steelmen League in Xpert XI is needing 4 new managers to take over teams from managers who have been, or are just about to be, sacked for non-attendance.

The current season finishes on Monday night and the new season will start in mid June. There are quite a few that are heavily involved in a lot of banter in the presss releases, scribble board and forum.

If you log into the site and it doesn't offer you a team, don't apply for a new one. I will be in the process of starting the season with the soon-to-be sacked managers. You may need to log on again once I have wielded the axe. Let me know on here if that is the case.

It's not just for Well fans as we have a good variety of teams supported including Caley, Jambos, Bears, Killie and Sheep.

Never having played soccer manager online, I don't know, but I doubt it.

You have a team of fictitious players with different skill levels and soecific abilities, like heading, quick, scoring instincts etc. The manager can set tactics and can mark a specific player, set win bonuses and more. You don't get to participate in a game because it happens in seconds, at 7 pm on a Monday night. The result is announced and the league table is updated. You cab change the team name and if oyur pay for a VIP membership you can change all the players names.

You would be better to have a look at the set-up.

If you haven't played before, don't worry, it is a relatively simple game to play, and most folk are willing to help out with tips and suggestions.
