I doubt it, Hibs were really bad today and I'm not sure Bingo has the intelligence to fix things.

Tuesday night will be a big game for Hughes & certain players to prove them self.

Still this weekend could have been worse. On that note good luck to St Mirren for tomorrow.

We will win.

Supreme confidence. :D Last five minutes though my bum cheeks were shaking like an epilectic.

Obviously delighted with the win. But disappointed with the scoreline. We should have destroyed them. Even 4-1 would have flattered the Hibees.

I'll begin with us. When I seen our starting line-up, going forward I was confident. Defensively I was worried. What a change ;) . Even less confidence when our back four changed to Thomson, Jonsson, Wallace and Palazeulos but in fact it probably was for the best as Kucharski looked very shakey.

The first twenty minutes were very scrappy. Or more truthfully, pish. But then a nothing ball in from the lively Suso, a bit of luck and Driver was there to follow up. Then a second ball in the box from a corner and it seemed as if Hibs didn't have a clue what to do with it. Glen showed his 'predatory' instincts and bang two nil out of nothing. After that we really could have had two more as Hibs crapped themselves everytime the ball was put into their box. Ruben had once cleared off the line before Obua really should have hit the target with his header.

2-0 at the break. Fan-dabby-dozzy.

I expected Hibs to come out and have a real go. Except it was us continuing to press thorugh our wingers with Obua and Glen linking up. The game should have been put to bed when Obua played a delightful ball into the six yard box and some how put it over under pressure.

Then a wee one-two-three between the impressive Obua, who had a hook shot just go over the bar, and Glen sent the latter free and he really had to have buried it before Stevenson and Stack done well to force him wide.

Another chance came Glen's way with a good header and save from Stack then Driver just had to put a bit more on his shot but again cleared off the line.

Then all of a sudden, like our first, a goal out of absolute nothing as Riordan fired into the net. The game too'd and fro'd but we managed to hold on. Just. We really shouldn't have had to.

For us our back four need to take credit especially Ruben who has been out for so long. Not that they had much to deal but they peformed solidly minus the goal. Driver looked lively in stages but needs to work harder to cover the left-back. Ruben was often exposed far too much.

Obua seems to get more and more confidence. He gave Bamba and Murray a hard time with his endless running and putting himself about to win headers. He also held the ball up well at times. If he can improve that side of his game then he could be an even more effective target man. It was good to see Glen get a goal and that will give him the world of good.

Kingston was a bit hit and miss in midfield. At times lost the ball needlessly but did add a bit of class. Stevenson was impressive when he came on with his effort and drive. Got in about the Hibs players and looked to get forward.

Suso, who really should have had a goal to his name, gave Stevenson a good game as he got at him and to the by-line.

Hibs on the otherhand were very, very poor. Why did they keep hitting it long from Stack to Riordan and Stokes. Yeah we had a weak back four but they are not going to get beaten in the air by those pair.

Your best play was when Miller linked with Stokes and Riordan but that barely happened. Wotherspoon could be pleased with his performance. But the back four.

We didn't play great football but got the ball in dangerous areas in and behind the Hibs defence and they didn't have a clue what to do.

All in all a great result to tighten our grip 6th place.

"I remember all of them, and every single one was a deliberate stab through the heart of Hibernian Football Club. Nothing against the fans but you lot have to understand that when Hibs didn't sign me, I wanted revenge. Some folk laugh at that and say: ‘What, all 27?' I suppose maybe 25 were punishment; the other two I banged in just for the hell of it."

About you lot, not a chance (St Johnston maybe).

Only thing worrying me is the prima donnas in Green shirts on Tuesday night.

St Johnston!? They pumped you 5-1, at least have the decency to learn how to spell their name ;)

They've been pretty poor ever since St.Johnstone humped them 5-1

Long before that for me.

I feel more disappointed in Hibs today than I've felt in Saints at any point this season. I had hoped they'd have at least made it difficult for Hearts but they were just so disinterested.

What a dire performance that was. Shocking attitudes from all of their players. Were they on strike? The way they all refused to move towards any ball would certainly suggest they were staging some sort of protest at having to do what they get paid to do! I'd be raging if I was a Hibs fan because they were ripped off and let down by their own players. <_<

You are quite correct. Embarrassing display and my faith in Yogi is beginning to dwindle a little, as warned by the Falkirk fans on here, fair play to them.

Seems as though Yogi cannot see what is going wrong in our team and is too stubborn/stupid? to see it. He had Galbraith stripped and ready to come on and when Riordan scored he told him to sit down again. Surely that was even more of a reason to bring him on, go for the jugular when we had the momentum. But no.

Hearts more than deserved their win, much more organised and up for it than us. No complaints on that count.

Graham Stack can't catch a ball. He looked very poor at the 1-0. Absolutely unbelievable mistake. He has good reflexes on the line (nice save at the header just after half time) but he does not dare the leave it when a high pass comes along. And when he finally got his hands on a ball he just kicked it to his collegue at the other end, giving away posession every time.

Hibs were terrible to see for large parts of the game: after Hearts' goals in the first half until half time and the first part of the second. Besides those periods of footballing horror there were some signs of decent passing, leading to 1 chance to Riordan, one goal and one chance to Wotherspoon, who made the wrong decission placing the ball just in front of the keeper while there were green jerseys waiting more to the left. Could have been the equalizer. Would not have done justice to this performance though.

And about Thicot in the last second of the game. Very frustrating players chose to go for the minor chance of becoming a last minute derby hero and shooting from a very long distance while a pass on Stokes would have caused a much bigger opportunity.

Pish yogi just utter pish. Every person in the ground saw that we were getting done down the left hand side, and what do you do? Sweet feck all. How you can justify dropping young paul hanlon is also beyond me as he has been our best player in the last few weeks, then you go and drop him, whats that all about? Absoulutely no fight in our team, hearts wanted it more and we were lucky to get away with a 2-1 loss. Im beginning to fear that the falkirk fans were correct when they said yogi only had one game plan and he messes around with the team too much, and i fear we will struggle to even make 4th place this season. He can talk the talk but he isnt walking the walk. Im also sure that we will get pumped up in dingwall on tuesday unless he gets his finger out and picks the correct team and gets them motivated again.

f**k off Yogi, and take your midfield midgets with you (except Miller). With all his experience, he seems so naive and just utter clueless at times like this (big games).

Your defenders are midgets too. With the exception of Bamba obviously.

No they're not. Murray and Thicot are both well over 6 foot I would imagine, Stevenson is the only defender you could call a midget.

They are comparable to most central defenders yes. They're both mince in the air.

Yeah. What's so hard to understand about that? We lack an aerial presence throughout the team. A blind man can see that.

2-1 flatters brazil, it was f***ing easy. Anybody watching the hibs can surely see the pish that their PR machine pours out is PISH! Although i still expect the gullible to swallow the flair garbage:D.

Well played HMFC reserves, a far easier game than the scoreline suggests.8)

it's nothing about your midfielder's being midgets, just that they're shit, we statrted with Kingston black driver and palazuelos.. 3 of them being well under 6 foot

I was delighted to see glen get his goal.. Hopefully give him some confidence for the rest of the season..
Was happy at how he scored his goal. Don't know if it's been robbo's coaching this week, but it was a right poachers goal, the type the wee man lived off.. We've missed that for a right few years

Yogi "Jesus Christ" The area of the pitch you do not change week in week out is your Defence then why in a derby in MARCH do you change positionally the whole of your back 4 from the previous game. IT IS INSANE. SORRY MATE The Hibs have the players that are miles better than what we saw totay
