We've sung plenty of songs about Falkirk at away games to be fair.

Not at all neebs, just proves that even when we are at our happiest we think of those less fortunate.
I think there i element of jealousy from raith fans, if the pars fans were at a big cup tie like yours on saturday then your wee team would be the last thing on our fans minds

Dunfermline boss Jim McIntyre must be at a loss to explain the succession of goalkeeping howlers he's witnessed from the frazzled Pars this season. I'm picturing a scene akin to Basil Fawlty whacking his car repeatedly with a branch after deciding "enough is enough!"

The stewards were telling everyone to sit down, it's the classic football fan response to come back with 'stand up if you hate ____'. I've no idea why you're so touchy about this. Bless.

Haha I thought it was brilliant that Rovers were playing Dundee in the Scottish cup in possibly one of the biggest games for them in at least the past decade and they couldn't help but sing songs about the Pars for large spells. Sums them up.
Dont flatter yourself
Long ball (often colloquially referred to as 'hoofball') is the term used in association football to describe an attempt, often speculative, to distribute the ball a long distance down the field via a cross, without the intention to pass it to the feet of the receiving player.
It is a technique that can be especially effective for a team with either fast or tall strikers. The long ball technique is also a through pass from distance in an effort to get the ball by the defensive line and create a foot race between striker and defender.[1] While often derided as either boring or primitive,[2] it can prove effective where players or weather conditions suit this style; in particular, it is an effective counter-attacking style of play in which some defenders can be caught off-guard. - Wikipedia

Don't flatter yersells, there was one or two "stand up if you hate the Pars" (nice to see that Dee boys think you're all twats too) other than that you were off the radar.
It's pretty cringeworthy to be honest. Dunfermline fans are just as bad though with the anti-Falkirk songs chanted at every away ground in the country. I can understand the songs if you are playing the other team but other than that it's pretty sad.

Don't care what anyone else thinks, I don't mind the Rovers one bit. I have been to many Rovers games when I couldn't get to the Pars game and I really hope they go and win the cup.
Hope we cream them twice this week though.

Now that the latest step on the road to cup glory has been negotiated (and the next step almost decided) I can finally look forward to these games.
I'm actually quite confident that we can at least get a share of the points from the two games. As much as a defeat would hurt 3 would obviously be better than 2 so lose-win would just about suit me.
We will undoubtedly be on a high and will have a few guys looking to cement a semi place so we should hit the ground running.
As important as these two games are though the next two are much more so.
