When did Celtic, that's Celtic not an ex-player, say it'd been 50 years of bad calls against Celtic?
A Celtic source said we'd had a ridiculous amount of unfair calls this season, which is correct.

When have Celtic done this before?
I, personally, want Falkirk to beat St Mirren on the last day of the season thanks to a last minute Michael Higdon OG.

Today neither was a pen but they got two goals from the ref again. Honestly what is the point? Also why did McCulloch only recieve a yellow card for that challenge at the end of the game. He went into the Utd players back with his knee deliberatly. There was no way he could get the ball...yet the ref thought it only merited a yellow card. Pathetic.

I agree. 'IF' it had been seen then there is no doubt it would have been a straight red. However it was off the ball and things like that can go unpunished. However watch this space...he'll be hauled before the beaks. If he isn't I'll be pleasently surprised. However I'd also expect Clancy to face the music too. Frazier Wright was also guilty of mandhandling Rasmussen at the same incident before he got elbowed and would have merited a yellow card which would have seen him sent off for a 2nd yellow.
Earlier in the season Lee McCulloch deliberatly elbowed an Aberdeen player in a game at the Bronx and tv footage caught it....nothing happened. No booking...no review panel. At the Scott Brown red card at the recent OF game, most pundits were all saying it was 6 and half a dozen. Laugherty never recieved a booking so again why wasn't it brought up by the review panel even though Laugherty raised his hands on Brown and had him in a headlock...BEFORE he got ever so slightly butted?
Point I'm making is that the odd thing can be missed but will be picked up and punished as this will be. Rangers though seem to have things going on regular these days and getting away with it.

Billy McNeill was talking about his own experience, his connection with Celtic goes back 50 years, but even prior to that various Celtic managers and board members had bemoaned the lack of fairness from officials, the league and the SFA. Indeed Celtic actually proved that they had been cheated by the SFA in a case which led to the sacking of Jim Farry. Fergus McCann said he felt no sympathy for Farry even although he was just applying unwritten rules that were ingrained in Scottish Football, and that was to hinder Celtic in any way possible. Mr McCann by these remarks was alluding to a century of cheating.
