has he managed to convince anyone with his "I think we will be a Premier League team next year, absolutely," statements yet?

He won me over on day one. I think it was the "shittin ma breeks" look after the Celtic game that dispelled any lingering doubts.

Pressley comes from the same mould as John Collins . Huge opinion of themselves and their ability . Dont see anybody even mention John Collins for any job that comes up , is he waiting for the Celtic job?

Pressley is still in his honeymoon period and most (on here anyway) Falkirk fans had resigned themselves to going down with May at the helm so he can just about get away with it - it'll be interesting to hear what he says if Accies win next week (God has come to that, praying for an Accies victory - apparently so). Valid tactic but nearing Sell By date.

"It was a game-changing decision, a big call and a decision he gets wrong," fumed Pressley.
"I think for referees we are an easy club to make decisions against."
"I thought there was absolutely no intent by Brian McLean to handle the ball," explained Pressley. "It angers me he made such a big call at a crucial time.
"Not enough is made of decisions against us. If the Old Firm get a penalty against them then it's back-page headlines.
"(But it's) easy to make decisions against Falkirk - no real repercussions, no discussions on it. That has to change.
"We can't accept what we got today, no way. No way can we accept being an easy target for referees.
"If I'm hauled up, so be it. I'm extremely angry and angry for my players, who put so much into it.
"In terms of penalties against us, it seems to be a club that referees find easy to give penalties against. That has to change."

Thing is i thought he was a good captain for Hearts. I remember starting a thread a couple of years ago on club captains,in a time where it makes little difference who has the armband i thought he was always influential on the pitch. I remember the game at Falkirk a few years ago for instince where he turned it around. I also agree with his "Press Conference " at Hearts,i still feel he had the clubs, and more importantly the supporter's best interest at heart. You can hardly expect him to come out and say its over we are going down. He is no quitter, may not be that great a manager but he will give it all he has got.

There is one crucial element missing in his "mind games".
He's an ex-centre back and therefore has no mind/brain/sense.....
