I have to say I disagree - I suspect managers (football people in general) have an unstinting belief in their own ability, and a somewhat futile sense of optimism. That said, in Reid's case it's not entirely outrageous.

The celebration after we scored was incredible, probably the happiest I've been at an Ayr game this year. But in true Ayr United style, we had to go and throw it away, didn't we.
