theres a bit of history between the teams after what happened with our ex chairman and the old Airdrie, and they dirty b*****ds breaking our crossbar, but thats as far as it goes, nothing derbyish about it, just a nice mutual dislike for each other

Yes there ex chairman(w****r) was one of the biggest reasons the the real Airdrie going bust and we might of tested out the strength of thee crossbar which wasn't up to standard

The celebration after we scored was incredible, probably the happiest I've been at an Ayr game this year. But in true Ayr United style, we had to go and throw it away, didn't we. Was absolutely gutted at the final whistle but after reflection I think it was a decent point. We were awful and Airdrie deserved at least a point.
Another game where we bring up a massive support and bottle it.
