Looking forward to heading up there, with our recent form i'd like to think we should win this, but after all it is Ayr so I wouldnt be suprised if it ends all square or they nick a win. Same line up as Wednesday please and Roberts to be back on the bench in place of Woodburn. Hope young McKay can get a goal to go along with his great performances as of late as well. Can Airdrie fans let us know where we will be seated this time? As at the last game we were in the same stand as them I think, wasn't there that game so not sure. Think we will take about 500+ after our recent reults. MON AYRPosted Image

Edited to add 3-1 this time to Ayr

I'm sure Ayr fans were in the East stand at our last meeting. In the three home matches played this year the away fans have been in the south section of the
Jack Dalziel Stand however I can see the police insisting separate stands are used against Ayr.

Just had a wee look on DSargent, http://dsargent.co.u...mage_02_jpg.htm
Suggests that the fans were in the same stand.....

Keighan Parker- ""Out of all the places I've played, the biggest crowd to noise ratio I've experienced is at Ayr." Ryan Stevenson- "I managed to play for Ayr, the team i supported as a boy" Liam Tomsett-"The fans were amazing, to come all that way up there and give us that backing. I couldn't believe the way they were carrying on- it was crazy"

I think this will be a tough game but we really should have enough in our locker to beat Airdrie and leave them stranded at the bottom of the league. Hopefully Gowser can up his game tomorrow, as he hasn't played as well as he usually does lately. Just imagine... Steve Bowey and Ryan McGowan both on top form. Magic.

Does anyone know when Rocky is expected back?

Don't know the name of the stands but yes, we were in the same stand as the Airdrie fans when we got beat 3-1 (deservedly) earlier in the season.

Hope we win tomorrow but I have to admit, I'd perhaps take a point and a good performance just now so long as ICT beat Morton. A defeat could be a bad confidence blow.

Strange and worrying, but I'll be disappointed if we don't win tomorrow. Prediction: 1-2 and "shit ground, no fans" echoing.

as above bit worried about this but think we should win. Hopefully this away game goes smoother than the last one i was at...

TBH i don't think we'll have a great crowd. only a coupla buses going up. somewhere between 300 and 400 i think.

Enjoy Yourself.

We need at least 10 points from our games against Ayr and Morton to have any chance of staying up.

I'm inlined to think a draw would be a good result, but I really think a win would relegate Airdrie.

I'd take a draw, followed by a 16-0 win at Somerset. That seems fair.

Anyone who has this on their coupon is a mongo! tough tough game for both teams. Emotional, stressful dogfight and although that is normal day to day existence for airdrie punters I expect the recent addition of quality to carry ayr to at least a point today. Roberts and macmanus are a great combo at this level and their intuitive play is exciting to watch. They have gelled fast and with a dynamo called bowey relentlessly giving them service I expect us to score

A draw wouldnt be disasterous, aslong as Morton never retook 8th place, but we really do need to get as big a gap between ourselves and Morton between now and the last game of the season, really dont think i could handle going into the last game of the season still fighting the playoff spot (although it would be a great build up to the match right enuf, like the Partick game years ago when we relegated them)

Even though we were the better team with 10 men Ayr were always going to get something with our luck at the moment. Delighted to get that equalizer, season for us was over 2 months ago but it's great to see Ayr squirming a wee bit!

Oh and what a fecking tool of a referee again, can't believe how bad the standards have gotten in Scotland

I was wrapped up with our Cup game, then I noticed that Ayr had scored what looked like a winner in injury time. Concerning. Then Airdrie equalised. It's been a good day so far.

Still only 6 points between us and Ayr now. The game on the 27th at Starks is shaping up to be a must win.

Airdrie were the better team, it was a red card only by todays rules, 20 years ago he'd have got a talking to.

Ayr are doing fine, even when not reaching the heights they grind out points.
