It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.

Zebina's goal was a peach.
Fulhams was lucky.
Great strike from Grosso for Juve to get the corner they scored from.

Sure am. Zamora cost his team the 3rd goal giving the ball away cheaply at a very crucial time. Very bad goal to lose for Fulham and they could lose another couple.
'Terracing celebrations were suitably extreme. Indeed, the Cowdenbath faithful - all 60-odd of them - kept the rest of us entertained during the not infrequent dull moments. They regaled us with everything from "Cooper's a poof" (difficult to substantiate) to "black and white shite", a suitably assonant summary of the quality of their opponents'

Ref should never have allowed the corner to be taken in the first place. It was well over the 2:00 mark.

It's at least 2 minutes added time.
Been a brilliant game, and I've not fallen asleep yet!

And?
It's a minimum of 2 minutes extra to be played, not exactly two minutes.

Pretty boring second half really.

That was a pathetic offside decision against Zamora there.
Unbelievably bad.

Good result for Juventus, but I wouldn't put it past Fulham scoring twice in the next leg.

Anyone watch Valencia v Bremen? What a fucking game, that is how football is meant to be played, only if that wee dick Atkinson didn't try his best to steal the spotlight. Does anyone actually even know why Banega was sent off?

I really wanted to watch that but I'm my girlfriends, who doesn't have ESPN and I don't think it was being shown in any pubs nearby so I had to make do with watching Liverpool v Lille, which was was fairly mediocre, although brightened up by Liverpool losing. Hopefully I'll get to see the return leg, which should be brilliant as it's set up really well.

Decent game. Fulham weren't really in it attacking wise until they got a goal out of nothing. After that they put pressure on and Juve were all over the place. If only they defended Trezeguet's goal better. The second half wasn't that great. It was if it went back to the start of the game where each team were feeling each other out.
Juve won't find it easy at the Cottage and it should still be a very interesting game. Good to see Dempsey back.

"I remember all of them, and every single one was a deliberate stab through the heart of Hibernian Football Club. Nothing against the fans but you lot have to understand that when Hibs didn't sign me, I wanted revenge. Some folk laugh at that and say: ‘What, all 27?' I suppose maybe 25 were punishment; the other two I banged in just for the hell of it."
