Arbroath have signed Phil McGuire, who lists Aberdeen, Doncaster Rovers, Dunfermline and Inverness Caledonian Thistle among his previous Clubs. Phil is comfortable both in midfield and defence and has been a free agent since the transfer window closed in January.

I think he forgot to list Formartine in his CV :rolleyes:

He's really gone down hill, only 29 too, though he was a good player.

He said he wanted to try his luck in America and claimed Formartine were the only team that were prepared to cancel his contract if an offer came in.

Should be a bit of a coup, although our last coup was Hislop :unsure:

Well done Arbroath for a deserved win in your "cup final" yesterday. A pity it's too late to mount a serious challenge to take our best in Angus title! 8)

Our lot didn't look up for the fight and were second to everything. I think that will be enough to secure your 2nd division status next year . See you then . ;)
