Difficult one for us this week. Arbroath and Clyde have tricky games so if they both lose, and considering our injury and suspension problems, I'd probably take a point from this one. But a win here would give us a real boost and Peterhead aren't exactly on great form.

I'd love to see us line up something like this...

Brown
Lowing - Muir - Ovenstone - Kerr
McCunnie - Fagan
Cargill - Young - Linn
Crawford

But if we're going 4-4-2, I'd move Linn up to just behind Crawford and bring Conway in, out wide.

I thinks we have more than enough to win this one and it'd be great to a have a bit of a cushion going into the Arbroath game.

Peterhead always seem to beat us at New Bayview and with Smarty and McManus both out it's going to make things even more difficult.

A win would drag Peterhead back into the mix albeit they have a game in hand. I would stick Linn up alongside Crawford and would even consider dropping McCunnie, who has been really poor of late and put forgotten man guy Kerr back into defence.

Brown

Lowing Kerr Muir Ovenstone

Cargill Young Fagan Conway

Crawford Linn

C'mon East Fife! Fife needs both our teams in this league. The atmosphere at our game last Saturday was great and we don't want to miss out on the derbies between us. All the best for this Saturday guys!

Smarty is banned for 1 game. Shagger is banned for 2, so will miss the Peterhead game but his band doesn't begin until after the Arbroath game, so both will be bac. Sorry.

That's the team i'd go with, although i'm not sold on Fagan yet.

Anyone know if Campbell will be back soon?. Him and smarty looked decent together. It could be a blessing in disguise with Mcmanus suspension, In recent weeks he's looked a little tired.

I'll take a draw..

2-2

Crawford with both!!

I'm sure you would agree that the win was far more to do with Peterhead's utter ineptitude than East Fife being brilliant.

Great result for East Fife and it will be fantastic if we can face you guys in another 4 games next year. How did Crawford manage to sort out the defence which you guys felt performed so badly against such a poor Cowdenbeath attack?

What a difference a week makes. The performance yesterday was like night and day from the farce at Cowden. We were without McManus and Smart, but didn't miss them at all.

Crawford, Young and Linn were all outstanding and Craw maybe should have hit a hat trick. Bavidge hit the post at 2-0 but apart from that Peterhead rarely threatened us. A well deserved 3 points, and brings Dumbarton and Peterhead back in to the mix making Tuesday's game V Arbroath a chance for us to move up in to 6th if other results go our way. With Smart and McManus back from suspensions, it finally gives Crawford a good decision to make.

Is this Steven Campbell that you are talking about and if so, what has been wrong with him?

Wasn't at the game yesterday but from what I have seen and heard, he's been OK but nothing amazing. To be fair, he has been thrown in as a stop-gap in a few positions where we've been missing players. Apparently, he played well yesterday in centre mid.

It is. I think he's injured his knee and could well be out for the majority of the rest of the season. He's looked excellent when he came in though and I'd love to see us sign him up fro next season.
