Think this is pretty bizzare. Didnt Raith only win 1 match in the last Month or so, no idea how he managed to get it. Could be wrong and missed a few results.

I agree, can only think it's for the win at Pittodrie and the fact there were very few games played last month
Keaton always said, "I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him." Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me is Keyser Soze.

It was on the SFL website last month that he won it solely because Raith beat Aberdeen in the cup.. It even made reference to the fact they failed to win a league game in the month of February.

Credit for beating the Dons, but the SFL awards should have nothing to do with the Scottish Cup, the SFA usually hand out awards before each round for the team of the previous round.

The SFL should do the awards based on league games... or I suppose League Cup could be included given they run that cup.

We won the team of the round aswell from the SFA. I did find it a bit bizarre that he got the award, but its possibly evened itself out as I felt McGlynn should have got the award for his cracking start to the campaign.

It was an exceptional month with so little league football being played. In terms of league form no one really stood out from the handful of games that did go ahead.

I always took it as an award available to SFL managers no matter what competition they gained good results in.

Good on McGlynn, anyone that makes Mark McGee look stupid should be given an award.

I hear about fans, they're going for the day, getting their tickets, trains, buses, they're going up early and they're gonna get... they're going to make a day of it.

Perhaps the topic title should read "John McGlynn, manager of the month - who cares?" as the award has little merit and appears to be handed our arbitrarlily.

We bet Raith 4-1 at Kirkcaldy a few days before they beat Aberdeen and we'reon a 10 game unbeaten run and they give the award to McGlynn??, and by doing so the award instantly becomes worthless.

It was 4-0.

I'm glad the award didn't go to Butcher. Teams always lose their next game after their manager gets the award.
And what?

Do we not always lose our managers after a manager of the month award? I'm sure Pele, Robbo and Brew (1st time) moved on not long after getting an award.

One day alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. Which road do I take? she asked. Where do you want to go? was his response. I don't know, Alice answered. Then, said the cat, it doesn't matter. - Lewis Carroll

I'm surprised it went to McGlynn as well, wouldn't have given it a second thought if it had gone to Butcher. But Inverness played two games in the month, won one and drew one, it's not really a compelling case either.

Like I say, exceptional circumstances with so little football being played.
