Credit for beating the Dons, but the SFL awards should have nothing to do with the Scottish Cup, the SFA usually hand out awards before each round for the team of the previous round.
The SFL should do the awards based on league games... or I suppose League Cup could be included given they run that cup.

I always took it as an award available to SFL managers no matter what competition they gained good results in.

It was 4-0.
I'm glad the award didn't go to Butcher. Teams always lose their next game after their manager gets the award.

That's cool.

Do we not always lose our managers after a manager of the month award? I'm sure Pele, Robbo and Brew (1st time) moved on not long after getting an award.
One day alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. Which road do I take? she asked. Where do you want to go? was his response. I don't know, Alice answered. Then, said the cat, it doesn't matter. - Lewis Carroll
