Nothing like a derby to help us bounce back from the defeat at Cowden in Tuesday evening.
We don't have a particularly good record at the Glebe and it's slope, 4 points from are last 6 visits or so. Don't expect that to change if we play as bad as was reported on Tuesday.
No point in predicting a a line up as no doubt Weir will have a strange selection planned.
Would be happy with a point, though if we are gonna leapfrog the Fife Wins are what we really need.
How's Terry Masson settling in?

It's not a derby.

Alternatively, 4 points from our last 2 visits.

If we don't win, that's us out of the promotion hunt.

Funny when we gave you lot a good shoeing at Gayfield it wasn't a derby - 'Arbroath don't care about the Village People, our derby is against Montrose etc etc etc
I expect it to be a tough one at the weekend though, although we were in a poor run of form last time we drew 0-0 at the Glebe. Almost the opposite now but between Arbroath and Clyde, I think we'd be very lucky to get 6 points from the two games judging by previous results against both sides.

All depends who we have available up front on Saturday!! The back 3 plus the two old style "half backs" has worked a treat and the midfield has been OK at best but pretty settled..............as all Lichties know our real problem has been up front. Jackson has been a complete waste of time and let's hope that with his pre-match warm up injury that's his last contrbution for us. Hislop and Ross are very similar however at least Ross has more pace about him and if Jim Weir would at least give him a few games in a row( starting) I believe he would score goals. Sick note( oh sorry Scott) has never recovered from the car accident that he was involved in just over a year ago ,and his "you cannot tell me anything" attitude has been noted so either he plays when fit of course, to get a transfer end of season, or sits in the stand!!
Doris is not and never will be a striker as plays best off the right side of midfield.
So the simple solution is replace the Jackson loan deal with Swankie( at least he would score goals) and since Sellars left we do not have a good free kick taker. OR get Sheerin who just happens to be a mate of Weir in to put the ball on the head or foot of our lack luster forward line. Again he is a fantastic dead ball expert and amazingly fit( well fit enough for 1st Div let alone 2nd).
Brechin have stuttered to 1 v 0 wins here and there but guess what.................they have a striker in double figures leading the scoring charts Mcallister 14 and King with 8 as a good back up.
We can spring a surprise I beleive and watch this space for some "signing news today"...............

That could actually be a stonking signing.
We need someone who can be vocal and experienced enough to organise the defence.
