This is going to be a big game towards both sides' play off hopes.

Any doubts of it being on or are we past that stage Posted Image

I know some Sons fans may think differently, but I'd take a point here. Our record has improved at Ochilview but it's still a hard place to go and Stenny are a solid team. They seem to be the same as us, playing well but not putting the ball in the net. It's gonna be tight but i'll go for 1-1.

On another note, everyone else got their My Chemical Romance t-shirts looked out?

Zero doubt that this game'll be off. Really looking forward to it after Tuesday's result. Unbeaten in seven games, while we can be found wanting sometimes in attack, we're solid at the back. Credit must go to McLeod, Thom and Gibb who have held the defence together superbly in the absence of Zordon Smith. Kevin Motion will be missing, but Iain Thomson and Willie Lyle return from suspension while Craig Molloy will be back in contention but I'd be tempted to keep the same team that beat Peterhead (with Molloy or Thomson in for Motion):

- Diack -

- Bradley - Love -

- S. Thomson - I. Thomson/Molloy - Scullion - Hunter -

- Thom - McLeod - Gibb -

- McLuskey -

Like I said in an earlier thread, if we win and results go our way, I'd be confident that we'll be safe come the end of the season.

No reason to say we can't win the game, but no doubt Dumbarton will feel the exact same way about it too.

I'll let my grandpa know, I think he was planning on wearing his Slipknot hoodie.

It would take a brave man to put his money on either team for this match but I'm going to go for 2-1 Sons with the last half hour being squeaky bum time. Posted Image

We've done pretty well on AstroTurf in the past year so am hopeful that will continue. We played well there last time but it's never an easy place to go.

Hoping for a 2-1 won for sons.

Dumbarton seem to like this fixture so from that point of view I'm quite worried about this one. We last won it in December 2007.

Difficult to know what Coughlin will do with the team as we'll have no Motion but a few others back. I just hope we can defend as we have been doing of late. My outlook on the beautiful game is always you can attack all day long but if you can't defend well you've no chance. Thankfully we've been doing that certainly since the turn of the year.

Neither team is good enough to get into the promotion playoffs, neither team looks bad enough to be relegated. It would obviously be nice to win, but a draw wouldn't be the world result in the world for either team.

If Molloy couldn't make the bench on Tue, I wouldn't pitch him straight into the team, so I think I. Thomson will take Motion's place. Lyle is back from suspension, but I'd be more than happy to see Hunter carry on in the right wing back/right midfield role. Overall, FF's team looks about right.

Can't see it being anything other than FF's team.

I think we will sneak this again although we will miss the delivery from Motion which has been a massive part of our game recently.

2-0 Warriors - Bradley and Gibbbbbbbbbb.

15 of our 30 league goals have come from set pieces, including 8 out of the last 9.

Big Sam would be proud.

If we play like we did on Tuesday, we'll win this one.

Do Stenny have fast and decent wingers?, if you do Chissys fucked

I think we should start Murray though. Cook had as great game on Tuesday, but Stevies just an all round better player, and hopefully he'll spit on some guy again Posted Image just kidding Posted Image

So, Prediction is 2-1 Sons, Hunter and Clarky getting the goals and the points

S'OK. Geggs helped him out on a good few occasions on Tuesday and if he and Chissy are playing, Andy will help him again. :D

Tight game IMO,I'd settle for a drraw, but of course I'd love it if we could win.

This team looks good and i dont think it'll be different come 3:00 today.
this will be a tight game but we have been solid at the back lately so think we can scrape something from it. It would be nice to see taz get a goal for us. im going for 1-1 and scorer bradley.
Unbeaten in 7 should give stenny a lot of confidence going into the game to try and extend it. I think stenny and dumbarton will stay up this season, playoffs not a million miles away but i would be happy to stay up this season.

Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes

Paul Quinn, you are my boy. An absolutely stunning strike to win the game with five minutes to go, you are my boy.

Wille Lyle and Scoot Gibb were sensational. Another excellent series of substitutions from Coughlin.

Dennis Wyness was horrible, worst player on the park by some distance. Only Gordon and Dunlop were any decent.

Absolutely delighted.

Another game. Another loss.

I dont know how we could put in such a poor performance like that just a few days after beating Alloa.

Dont know how Carcary missed his chance, fair enough the ball was a wee bit behind him but you should be putting them away.

An improved game from Chissy, but not from Wyness, still yet to convince me hes 'SPL Quality.

The ref was a dick, im pretty sure hes not 'SPL Quality' aswell.

Highlights of the day were when there wasnt any football playing on, was on the way back from Subway about 530 with my mate and his grandad when we past Ochilview, who turns out in his black 4x4 but WILLIE COLLUM. Not knowing what to do, me and mate put our scarfs out the window and started waving them at him.
The other highlight was my mates grandad winning the £83.20 in the half time. I got a tenner out of it Posted Image

So overall, poor performance and hopefully a return to winning ways on Tuesday against Clyde.

If he was "SPL quality", if such a thing actually exists that is, then he wouldn't be playing for us.

Have to say, Collum was excellent today. Best referee I've seen all season.

Poor. Poor. Poor.

One of the most boring games i've seen this season, Carcary should have put his shot away, no doubt about it. Chappy put on Carcary far too early imo, we should have brought him on with 10 minutes left when legs were getting tired. Half the team were trying to play football but the other half were just hoofing the ball up the park for Carcary, it didn't work. I'm also bitterly dissapointed that Chappy took off Hunter (for his miss i'm guessing) he was trying to do some stuff but Wyness yet again was doing f**k all apart from being a useless so and so.

I thought Winters had a good game today, if he puts in a shift like he did today he should do well for us. Smith had a solid game aswell.

So it's on to Tuesday where we should get a result. No excuses. I won't be attending (school night ) so i'll be counting on SonsTV to deliver the goods. :P
