And number one wasp -- can you please change your name, cause if you're number one then God help the rest of them.

 It was the first name i could think of and i dont feel like paying £10 just to go "platinum" because someone wants me to change my name.

On the game im still not 100% confident but this league has been unpredictable from the start so all we need to do is believe we will win and get behind the team whoever is playing which the majority of us do and we can help the team.

1-0 alloa stuart noble the scorer

Looks like both sets of fans are not confident which way this game is going to go. Likewise, I have'nt got a clue. The post-mortem threads should be entertaining.Posted Image

Think there could plenty of goals this Saturday.

I'll go 1-0 Alloa. Andy Scott the scorer.

I'm plumping for a no scoring draw.

Hat trick for Elliott and a McKenna double.

I dont share the same pessimism as my fellow wasps and feel the defeat at Dumbarton may have been a wake up call that we cant just turn up and expect to win games. I thought there was a couple of positives that came from the Dumbarton game, Bomber was immense second half and i thought Gils started to show glimpses again of what he is capable of doing going forward. I think the team have to be confident of taking at least 9 points from the next four games and if we do have ambitions of winning the league then we should be looking to beat Stirling convincingly on Saturday. (which ill fuckin miss because of work....)

Prediction: 4 - 1 Alloa (Noble 2, Prunty, Gilhaney)

Another blow if Andy Scott is injured. Funny how things can change so much in the space of a week. 1 point from 6 and a few men out and a lot of Alloa fans are suddenly nowhere near as confident as they would have been this time last week. Id be particularly worried about the defence given the pairing of Walker and Buist has been the rock upon which our much improved defence has been built. These are the situations though where its down to other players to come in and show they are up to the job, where titles can be won and lost I suppose. Makes the gaffer's job much easier too in a way as the team pretty much picks itself now.

Bit surprised the amount of Alloa fans who forsee an Albion victory -- granted you have defensive injuries but we haven't won a home league game since October and haven't kept a clean sheet in 19 games. So you will score. To lose we'd need to score 2, and so far in 180 minutes against Alloa this season we've scored 0.

We've drawn 7 of our 11 home games this season. Predict 1-1 on Saturday.

Hence one is long overdue.

Walker and Buist played major parts in our 2 victories over Stirling this season and in all likelihood, both will be missing this weekend. Stirling have been ahead in a few of the home draws which they've had and if that happens on Saturday then i can't see us coming back, more probable that we will lose more. For Alloa,i think it's imperative we score first on Saturday or it could turn out to be a very long afternoon. Would take a drab 0-0 game tbh.

I'd certainly settle for a dreich cold afternoon finishing in a drab 0-0 draw. Without Walker, Buist and Scott we will struggle. Also rumours about Townsley being injured. Only hope Gils has a good game...

Actually we tend to fall behind at home then after the kitchen sink has been thrown at the opposition we get an equaliser. We recently went 9 games in a row where we conceded the first goal.

On the rivalry front - I would consider Raith and Morton our closest rivals over last 5-6 years. Lots of close and crucial games with each of them over last few years.

Locally - I would consider Alloa our biggest local derby

I'd agree with this in the main, some of the tussles with those two over the last few years have been entertaining, especially given that they are "bigger" clubs than ourselves. Not that they are proper rivals or anything. However, I don't really see any side as a rival per se. The Alloa games are usually decent(especially at the Recs) but I don't walk away from a win against them any more satisified than if we beat Stenny, Cowden etc.

On to the game. If - and it's a huge if - Moore goes 4-4-2 with the eleven who started against Peterhead last week, I can see us winning. Walker and Buist being out is a huge boost for us - we really need our strikers to be taking some of the chances coming their way.

Despite all that, a limp performance resulting in an away win would not surprise me at all.

Edited to make the last sentence actually make sense!

Should be interesting to see what AM starts with. Think there must be a good chance McCaferty starting. If he does, its a huge chance for him to show us what hes upto. I feel sorry for the lad tbh, hes a young lad whos playing out of position at LB, his confidence must be low. Brown will have a huge role to play at CB. Hopefully we can get through the first half hour, and both win a few headers and build a bit of confidence between the two. If we can manage that, I feel theres a good chance of a win.

Theres another huge decision for AM to make in midfield with Andy Scott likely to be out. I have a feeling he will stick Bomber out wide right, where I feel he isn't as effective as in CM. If Bomber does start wide right, it will probably be Carrol and Grant in CM and last week we saw it wasn't the best pairing. Hopefully AM takes notice of last week, and starts Bomber and Grant in the middle, and Gormley right wing with Gills on the left.

We will need another big performance from Prunty and Noble. Think our best chance of winning is by outscoring Stirling, and if this is the case these two need to take chances.

I really do see it as being a 3 each or something.

According to the BBC Townsley and Buist are both injured and Welsh has work commitments. We won't have a defence! :(

Deary me!

Hopefully AM can get an emergency loan in for CB, and McCaferty can go LB.

F*cks sake :( . Dont know what kind of defence the gaffer is going to put out now, we'll more than likely be looking at bringing in lads from the under 19's to play at the back? Unfortunately cant see anything other than a Stirling win.

What's all this work commitments pish? Especially for tomorrow when we're really short of players anyway. Well I'm off to stick my weekly online beting allowance on the Binos. If we're going to get stuffed at least I'll get a bit of compensation.

I dont want to be to pessimistic of my team, but we played stennie a couple of weeks ago and they struggled to put a team together through injuries, and the ripped us apart at times. So dont go by your injuries some young lads will have a point to prove to get moved up or at least a sniff of the team in the future.

with albion it depends on what team moore puts out he seems to have lost his way since the Morton carry on dont know if his heart is in it anymore, but if he gives himself a shake his CV will look better with a promotion either directly or through the play-offs but at the moment its not looking to good, but enough of me being negative 3-1 to the Binos.

Pruntys been really good. His movement has been a real handfull for most teams. Only team who I've seen deal with him effectively is probably Clyde (wasn't at Dumbarton). Gormlay has shown flashes, but I think he will be used more as an impact sub.
