News just confirmed - East Fife have been removed from the list of Fife clubs for derby purposes. After circa 2 decades of ineptitude and perennial slaughterings, the once plucky Methil lads have been deemed no longer fit enough to represent the Kingdom and carry the status of Fifers. The club is to change its name to East Neuk with immediate effect. Meantime Stenhousemuir have been promoted to quasi-Fifers in order to provide some real derby opposition to the Blue Brazil.

With their record against us this season I cant see tham lasting too much longer as quasi-Fifers in all honesty.
Blue Brazil Top Scorers 10/11

16.28: Oh come on Cowdenbeath this isn't even funny anymore: Yes, another goal at Central Park. Jay Stein has made it 6-2 to the Blue Brazil and every football purist wishes they were in Fife this afternoon. You don't hear that very often. Seven goals in 25 second half minutes. Cowdenbeath 6-2 East Fife.

I'd be ashamed if my team were ever included in anything Fife-related.

'Terracing celebrations were suitably extreme. Indeed, the Cowdenbath faithful - all 60-odd of them - kept the rest of us entertained during the not infrequent dull moments. They regaled us with everything from "Cooper's a poof" (difficult to substantiate) to "black and white shite", a suitably assonant summary of the quality of their opponents'
