I usually avoid Clyde threads these days as it turns to complete nonsense but Jesus!

The wiki page made me lol.
In that dream I could hardly contain it
All my life I will wait to attain it

Actually I blame Network Rail for opeing up a railway line to a town that no-one ever wants to visit,
I mean seriously, what is the point of a train service to Alloa?

Coming from East Kilbride I do hope you see the irony in your post.

If it costs £250 to buy a football, then yes, I take your point. Posted Image

OK, I buy that. But there are still a few anomolies here:-

1. Why are the balls worth more than Mark Gilhaney?
2. Why are the balls the same price as a bungalow in Alloa?
3. Why is there a railway line in a place that barely looks as though gas lamps have been invented, never mind electricity?

Why do I feel like it's still unsafe to leave the house?

Why do I feel scared to go to the next Clyde game?

Why is this crap still going on?

Don't make light of this. It is serious. Alloa would be playing at a much higher level, with an SPL compliant stadium, were it not for having to pay £250 per ball.

I was at work in Tesco earlier tonight and some guy was trying to buy his wean a spiderman fly away. The dad asked me how much it was when I said £100 he said that was quite cheap and he was expecting to pay £250, I explained if he had bought an SFL match ball it would have cost him £250 but since this was a fly away it came to £100 . He was quite chuffed at the saving

Seriously, just shut up.

Problem is - that could "fly away" onto the railway line. Another factor not taken into consideration by Network Rail.

Still, better to lose £100 to the railway line than £250.

Is now a good time to mention I stole a quid from Alloa by keeping my wee red ticket for the stand from the first time we played there and using it again on Saturday?

Just compared the lineup on Saturday with the lineup when we played at Alloa earlier this season.
Park was the only player to play in both games :o .

What I find funny about all this is that no-one (I think) has realised that the match balls are provided and paid for by irn-bru.

I hope the arsehole fan has collected enough glass bottles to pay for this when Barrs come calling...

I wonder what good upstanding guys like Watty Arnott would make of some of the complete wallopers on this thread? It's not like the good old days when you could antagonise people with purpose, it all seems to have been watered down.
It's a dangerous combination of idiots and bullies, with the end result of some really unfunny material.

This. These Clyde fans seem like a right laugh Posted Image
