Hope the Lichties can maintain there mini run of decent form at Gayfield tommorow.
2 decent home wins back to back against teams around us will give the squad a confidence boost and give us the belief that we can get ourslves out of the relagation places.
Dont see much change from last weeks starting 11, Maybe only Redman replacing Nimmo.
Its about time we beat this lot............please god not another 3-0 defeat

Looks a very different team from the Arbroath we have owned this season so the games before sadly mean jack shit. Having said that we have gone 5 unbeaten and if we can make it 6 that would be grand, it's imperative we don't let Arbroath get maximum points tomorrow. Arbroath will see it as a must win which could play into our hands.
For me we always look better with the wing back system illustrated on Tuesday night where we looked shaky with the 4-4-2 until the change. Not sure if Darren Smith is still here or not but he just doesn't look like a football player at all. Massive disapointment, I know he is coming back from a bad injury and he MUST be a better player than he has shown but we can't afford to carry passengers in our team. Kevin Bradley trained last night and is in the squad tomorrow but I would imagine he will start on the bench.
Team
McCluskey
Gibb McLeod Thom
Lyle Thomson Scullion Motion Thomson

Win this and safety is right back in our own hands. 3 points puts us 2 off Stenny with a game in hand.
Massive game though, as it's followed by 4 away games.
We've started scoring a few more and from what I've seen, it's simply because were prepared to shoot from range. Against a small keeper like Stenny have, this is worth continuing as even if he is agile as feck, we'll still get corners which we can just put under the bar.
Hopefully Iain Diack can take a two-footer to the throat as well.

Classy.
You have the player to do it right enough in "FLYERRRR" McMullen an absolute animal and all round scrotum.

Without showing up your obvious "lack of command of the English language"....... I think you may find that the said Mr. Diack has had more clubs than Tom Watson!! A bad character who never lasts anywhere and is not a good influence in the changing room. Sadly he is just as likely to score against us but that I hope will be your consolation goal in a 3 V 1 defeat for the Stenny boys'. Confidence has been boosted and Jackson is almost "I did say almost" fit, so we have good options with Hislop back (and in need of redemption). Come on the Red Lichties

If he did, I certainly agreed with him. Not in the head or central column, where the vital organs are kept, but arm or leg is fine.

You're taking that completely out of context. It was also not what Neilly said at all.

I thought this would be true, however, from what I've heard, Diack gets on with the squad and is a good laugh.
...BOUNCE!

Willie Lyle sent off for violent conduct?
Who would have thought that would happen?

Smith away back to Motherwell and two more suspended for Tuesday night. Yikes. Wonder if Scott Bennett is any good out of the goals?
Another good point though. Unbeaten in 6 now I think.

Willie Lyle is a fuckin animal.
Should hav taken 3 points today. Hislop was fuckin terrible, missed penalty and just an overall piss poor display. Looks like he doesn't care most of the game.
Iv been a harsh critic of Redman this season but fair play to him today. Played well and took his goal superbly.
Would have been great to sneak the win with East Fife getting an absolute clubbing aswell but a point is a point.

Should have been three points, but it's better than the usual 3-0 against Stenny.
Both teams were even today. Frantic stuff but little quality. When did anyone get the ball down and play some passes?
Pumping the ball into the box is fine once in a while but constantly, and against a BIG defence like Stenny's when are forwards are pish in the air, is a waste.
Can't understand Weir's logic in keeping Hislop on - even taking the pen out of the picture. By the end he was KO'd, lacked match fitness and sharpness due to his suspension yet he stays on while Robbie Ross, who has been scoring, is left on the sidelines. Where is the sense in that?
Still at least EF got pumped. Sadly we have Cowden on Tuesday....
