Surely but surely this game will make it, temperature is up and the snow was cleared off the pitch on Tuesday.

Someone give us some good news as its a massive game for all involved.

Its sad that once again the weather is the main talking point and the game takes a back seat but tis the way it is.

Rain due for Friday and Saturday.

Could someone post a map to Central Park? I think I've forgotten the way.

Can't see it being on, although Peterhead played last night and it was -6C at 2000hrs in Aberdeen - probably colder up there!

We were always going to go on a bad run sometime and its happened. We arent quite getting the luck we were and are making individual errors that werent there at the start of the season. These things happen. Im sure we will overcome it, starting Saturday i hope.

Derby Games = East Fife lose.

Cowden are on a bit of a bad run at the moment so the fixtures have been kind to them, by giving them us to end their slump. Our results in derby games are shocking and a derby win is well overdue. We should have won the game at Bayview, with McManus missing a penalty and somehow missing from 3 inches at the death, so here's hoping he can make ammends for that on Saturday.

I'll say our shit record continues and a 1-1 draw.

Cowdenbeath 1 - 1 East Fife
Brass Monkeys (-3). Jack Frost (-7).

Let's hope this goes ahead on Saturday. This is one game you wouldn't want to see on a Tuesday night.
Think too this will be a draw.

Just hope that the game goes ahead like everyone else but not holding my breath. Think we have only had 3 games since we last played East Fife so feels slightly weird to possibly be playing again. Predicting this one is just impossible as theres no form to go by in our case. These games are always tight and Cowden have had the luck of the green in most recent encounters. We will be very rusty but if the game is on i will be a very happy camper.

With the mild weather since Tuesday iwould be shocked if this game is off.

With Adamson suspended i would go with:

Hay
Drouge Mbu Chopper Linton
Toorie Robbo
McQuade Mini McBride
Wardlaw

Suds: Bower, Beaky, McGregor, Frankie and Stein.

I noticed Frankie had a knock so i havent started him. I would go with two wide men as i noticed East Fife have been playing 3 at the back. Toorie and Robbo just to sitonfornt on the back 4 and let Mini push on. Cant see us changing the formation but this is how we finished at Alloa.

Don't recall McBride playing against Alloa - hope he is fit. I'd have one or both of Frankie/Jay Stein playing too.
The right back position is too much of a hot potato!
Surely this game has to be on?

Sorry i meant formation wise, not necessarily player wise.

Has been over this way. 6 degrees i would say is mild in comparison to what we have had to suffer. Well done on quoting my whole post just to highlight the first sentence.

Actually I only mentioned the first word and not the first sentence. Anyway, apart from the McBride halluciination, the whole post was worth repeating.

PS The quicker we get back to some fitba' the better. :D :D :D

Mbu, Drouge and Linton didnt play at Alloa either so it was hardly the same team at all.

message on coswdens web site for game the morra: Please note that the East and South Terracing will be closed tomorrow afternoon due to Health and Safety procedures. We understand that many fans have stood on certain parts of the ground for many years but we ask on this occasion to understand the massive effort from the Manager, youth players, supporters and ground staff to clear the pitch and surrounding areas in time for the game tomorrow. Unfortunately we have not been able to clear the main terracing in time and is therefore not safe for spectators.

Cowden fans are requested to use the New Stand and the East side of the Old Stand while East Fife fans are requested to use the West Terrace and West side of the Old Stand.

hopeing games aff dinny like being in the stand
