As a baldie I tend to notice these things to. The worse was Mark Clattenberg (ref) had a huge bald patch at the back of his head, then got suspended when he came back, a full head of hair!
Di Canio, what a Legend on JPT Final and Swindon "It is the best trophy I can win. Even in 10 years’ time when we win the Champions League I will remember this as the start of my career.”

Thought there was something different about him, couldn't quite place it.

Because he is managing Wigan and is in a position whereabouts Wigan should be?

Well, in my opinion he is actually doing reasonably well for Wigan. They are probably the most boring team in the premiership and although they have a couple of decent players they are overall a pretty poor side and i hope they get relegated.
Itzdrk - once again clueless

They're actually both from last season.
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.
Die, die, die....I can't

I can't find any decent pics but, the former Bulgaria keeper, Boris Mikhailov's effort in World Cup 94 was standout.
We're not cuddly anymore.

When he was appointed I'm sure their chairman said he would be in the job even if they got relegated (!).

I think Martinez is just struggling a bit to stamp his own mark on the team. They are a long ball outfit full of cloggers playing on a swamp of a pitch I might add. Not exactly going to be an instant success story.

I would be shocked if they don't make wholesale changes in the summer, the problem is they don't have many saleable assets. I don't think there's doubt that Martinez has ability as a manager, he wouldn't be so highly thought of otherwise.

You can see that in the players he has brought to the club in January and even in the summer. Low budget buys who are a bit risky to pin your survival hopes on.

They do have good footballers but a lot of the players are young naive and/or inexperienced at EPL level especially those playing further up the pitch.

"I remember all of them, and every single one was a deliberate stab through the heart of Hibernian Football Club. Nothing against the fans but you lot have to understand that when Hibs didn't sign me, I wanted revenge. Some folk laugh at that and say: ‘What, all 27?' I suppose maybe 25 were punishment; the other two I banged in just for the hell of it."

Mon the Wigan! It really looked like we were going down after a terrible run but hopefully this win will give the team a boost. Diame was fantastic today and, surprisingly, so was Caldwell.

Fair enough. But, in my opinion, to have been beaten by Wigan, they must have been utter shite. And they were.
Wigan's result yesterday was a disgrace and we deserve to go down, but due to Portsmouth's financial troubles and Hull and Burnley being even more shit than Wigan, I think we'll stay up...just.
