Curling Bonspiel Cancelled due to ice????

Apparently because of the ice in the surrounding area, this rather grand sounding event has been cancelled. Somewhat ironic methinks.

Sounds like a lot of fun. No doubt the PC and H&S Police called it off in case someone goes scuba diving without any air. I remember skating on Loch Morlich years ago. Great fun.

I'm old enough to remember the last Bonspiel on the Lake of Mentieth.

Someone drove a Ford Anglia onto the ice and it broke through and the driver drowned.

The only place where your dream becomes impossible is in your own thinking.

I noticed that the great British public stuck two fingers up to the H&S Brigade and turned up anyway.
