Right, the official site has just reporter that Gary Muir has followed Scott Gair, Adam Coakley, Div McKay, Steven Oduwemu, Robert Halliday and Paul McLeod out of the door.

Since I have a feeling that he won't be the last one to be punted, I thought I'd start a new thread to discuss the latest casualties, and who might be next on Cowboy's hitlist. Saves a new topic being started every time a player leaves

Don't mind that Muir has moved on to be honest. Never really thought he was any good if anything a squad player which he turned out to be in the end. All these players leaving can only be for the better and I fully expect Cowboy to bring in new faces come January.
That was smashing eh?
Aye, some good solid graft!

I still don't know what position Muir is supposed to be

Lang will probably be the next one out on his arse, possibly along with Jamie Doyle and Darren Walker as well. If the last two went I'd be disappointed though

I've heard from an inside source that he will definetly be out on his arse pretty soon. It's a revolution i'm tellin' yees.

I think these two will hang on, with this "clearout" in full flow they may see this as an opportunity to prove themself.

If Conn Boyle leaves im offically never going to a Clyde game again.

Hopefully Casey is on his way out aswell

I doubt Conn Boyle will leave, he's mainly an u19 player. As dire as Casey is, I'd be surprised if he went as well. He must be doing something right to constantly get a contract in this league. Don't know what right enough

Am I the only one who thinks Casey gets a ridiculous amount of undeserved stick?
Let's go, let's go, let's go Filip Mentel.

Aye. He's utter, utter garbage. I'm not usually one to write players off or get on their backs, but Casey is absolutely hopeless with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. The amount of times he lost possession, gave the ball away, panicked on the ball and misplaced passes today just wasn't funny

I have calculated how much money Clyde have saved thanks to these departures. £120.

Yes but is that not you amusing their on £20/30 a week. The players being payed by the trust Mcleod and Mckay were possibly on higher wages and remember Odenewu was not being payed.

not surprised he left since i didnt rate him, as long as the players get a chance to prove themselves before they get booted

And that was not a good start, losing the Doctor at this stage of the game is pretty catastrophic, the Mafia will be creaming themselves after that kill. Particularly when the Doctor is as skilful a player as Forehead is.

Yes I would imagine you are in a minority of 1. I cant understand why he keeps persisting in trying to make a living out of football.

Not seen much of Darren Walker but what I have seen of him he looked pacey, certainly no worse than we have been used to, as for Jamie Doyle thought he looked as if he was possibly our best midfield player, but same again not seen enough of him. Possibly our players become better when you dont have to watch them every week.

Yes.

the loan player Graham from dunfermline is the only player in the same level as Casey.

Looks like you could be.
Absolutely terrible excuse for a footballer and for the life of me i don't have a single clue what Broon and McCormack see in him, i really hope he is the next one out the door.
When i heard he came on today, my immediate thought was was, well that s that then, another defeat.

Caldwell is actually a great centre half however consistency can be an issue for him, technically his distribution of the ball for a defender is as good as Pique or Puyol.
