I want to get a few games for Christmas, any ideas lads? I'm getting Brutal Legend but I need a few more suggestions. They don't necessarily have to be from this year (i.e. I might have missed a few crackers last year as I was busy with exams).

The only games I've got from 2009 are Resident Evil 5, PES 2010 and Modern Warfare 2.

Batman is simply fantastic: graphics, story and gameplay top notch. Definitely getting it for Christmas.

Arkham Asylum is indeed excellent, as is Assassin's Creed 2.

What happened in the end of the first one? I just got fed up becasue you just do the same thing over and over.
Is the second one the same or is there actually a good story?

Well, the story of the first one was excellent, it was just a bit let-down by the repetition of the missions. In the new one the story follows on from the first one but there is far more variety in missions, it doesn't get repetitive. It's more like a GTA: Renaissance Italy.
Spoiler
Abstergo wanted to kill Desmond after their experiments, he is saved by Lucy (who it turns out is an Assassin). Abstergo are just a modern version of the Knights Templar and they are attacked by Assassin's who are trying to free Desmond. Desmond learns Eagle Vision as he absorbs some of Altair's skills from the Animus, and sees various coded messages written in his bedroom.

Assassin's Creed 2 is definitley worth a punt. I hated the first one but I'm loving the new one, it's a far better game.
I'm getting The Saboteur for my Christmas. That looks like it could be good but I'll have to wait and see.

The only thing that could keep me off COD is a restraining order.

I have a dilema. I have Fallout 3 GOTYE, CoD6, Halo3 ODST and Fifa 10. So its not as if i lack good games to play. Yet i really want AC2 and Dragon Age for Christmas! I dont like having too many good games as take longer to choose which to play than time i spend playing them!
OH INVERNESS!
IS WONDERFULL!

Alright guys, need yer opinions. Telt maw I wanted the following games for christmas....
Age of Empires 3 - PC
PES 2010 - PS2
Virtua Tennis 2009 - Wii
With regards to PES, it will probably be brilliant as per. Just the playstation 3 version that's shite. Anyone know what Virtua Tennis and Age of Empires are like? AOE was tremendous when played it as a lad but nae idea if this one is any gid. Just fancied a good strategy game. Buying Virtua Tennis 2009 for the online mode as nae many games out on wii where can play people from all over.
Any advice appreciated!
