I am total gutted. Just got the YLOD.My question is does anyone know if it's possible to eject a disk which is in the machine. It's MW2 that's in it and I don't really want to fork out more money for it. Also, I can't find Sony's phone number so could anyone either tell me it or give me a link which has the number on it?
Cheers.

What I am doing is, buying a slim with (probably) Uncharted 2 for around 270, getting a refurb from Sony for 128, and getting my MW2 disk back as well. So I will have a PS3 upstairs and downstairs.
Good times.
I'll be bored this weekend though.

Hmm. Go to Sainsburys. Buy the slim for £200. Then buy Uncharted 2. And get nectar points for the lot. NICE.

What happened to me - I was playing the MW2 campaign on Veteran, had just started so I was on Cliffhanger, and it froze just as I shot some guy. The green power light then turned yellow, the TV went blank and then the PS3 started flashing red and it wouldn't turn back on.
It's a horrible experience.
